I have been buying Bounty towels for a very long time. I would like to know why each select a size towel is smaller than they have been for soo long? It is very disappointing...…….I really don't want to change the paper towels I use, but if they continue to get smaller, that is exactly what I will have to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a student on a budget, I don’t typically buy the brand name paper towels because I don’t have the money to splurge on the brands. However, I recognize quality when I see it. I notice I use a lot less paper towels to clean up messes as I would a generic brand. They are very thick and absorbent, so if it’s important to you to use less, I would suggest these. Bounty is a GREAT product and gives you value for your money..but they likely won’t find their way into my frequent purchases until my income goes up 😂

I'll add my voice to the folks who are unhappy about the current quality of Bounty paper towels. When I first used the new package I thought I'd bought the wrong thing they were so inferior to how they used to be. I was willing to pay more for the higher quality, but this formulation is no better than store brands, so this will be my last package of Bounty, sadly, as I've been using them for decades. But it makes no sense to pay extra for the name now that the towels are store-brand quality. There is no need to tell everyone to call customer service - everyone is telling you here in these reviews that they are unhappy with the change in quality. Please let us know if you return to your former formulation and I will gladly return as a customer.

I have been a fan of Bounty, and especially Select-a-Size towels, for years because they are extremely absorbent and a half towel is enough for many types of messes, so they save me money by lasting longer. I just bought some last week, however, and they feel completely different. They are not soft at all, but very scratchy and cheap feeling. Every time I use one, I am disappointed by the texture. If this is a permanent change in the towel, I will be looking for a new brand.

Some time during this pandemic year, Bounty quality (when I could find it on the shelves in NYC area) has gotten so poor that I won't buy it again until I can be assured it is back to normal. It makes no sense to pay premium prices for a product that is almost unrecognizable now. The texture is hard and harsh (not even close to the soft feel I am used to), it is thin, absorbency is much reduced. One clear indicator of a change in manufacture is that the embossing pattern is different than before, and the newer embossing also varies,. Also, some tubes are soft and easily squashed. And some rolls seem to leave a strange white residue on hands or fabric, particularly when the double layers separate. A month or or two ago I called the Bounty support number at P&G and the support person seemed to be totally unaware of the hundreds (certainly more like thousands) of complaints about recent Bounty quality decline out there online. If P&G does not care enough about their Q&A, brand quality, and reputation to keep up with comments and complaints out there, and take complaints seriously, they should be ashamed. Those that care enough to complain speak for many hundreds or thousands more that don't take the time to write or call. We want our old, dependable, comfortable, helpful Bounty back (*not* speaking about B Essentials). Btw, if these issues are related to pandemic or other manufacturing, supply, materials problems, we out here will understand that, but we want the issues acknowledged, explained, and a timeline for return to normalcy. Just don't tell us we don't know our own, real experiences with your product. We know the changes we see, feel, experience are real. Don't insult us by insisting nothing has changed. We know, see, feel that it has.

We use paper towels constantly. And my daughter is a professional nail tech and uses them all the time as well. This product is economical and durable. Bounty gives you a two-fisted punch! It eliminates waste on two fronts; first, because of its absorbency it prevents the need for using more to do less; secondly it allows you to tear off just what you need to complete your task. again eliminating waste! We are always looking for a good value since we use paper towels so much. This product consistently fits the bill. I highly recommend these paper towels - at any price.

They are thick unlike some paper towels that rip and get your hands all nasty from the spill. Bounty is my favorite brand I highly recommend all of their products

There are two name brand products I always had to have. Bounty Paper Towels and Northern Toilet Paper. Two months ago, I bought an eight pack of Bounty paper towels as I typically do, and have been doing so for my kitchen for over 25 years. The new Bounty paper towels are thin, cheap, horrible quality, and indistinguishable from previous Bounty paper towel products. Store brand paper towels are now better than the new Bounty paper towels. I'm not talking about the new Essentials brand of Bounty paper towels. I am talking about the standard Bounty paper towels I had been using for 25 years. Bounty paper towels lost a long-time customer. I will not spend the kind of money they charge for a now horrible product. After 25 years of only buying Bounty paper towels, I will be switching to Brawny as long as I can find their product. Now, the difference between Bounty and Brawny is like night and day.
