Some time during this pandemic year, Bounty quality (when I could find it on the shelves in NYC area) has gotten so poor that I won't buy it again until I can be assured it is back to normal. It makes no sense to pay premium prices for a product that is almost unrecognizable now. The texture is hard and harsh (not even close to the soft feel I am used to), it is thin, absorbency is much reduced. One clear indicator of a change in manufacture is that the embossing pattern is different than before, and the newer embossing also varies,. Also, some tubes are soft and easily squashed. And some rolls seem to leave a strange white residue on hands or fabric, particularly when the double layers separate.

They’re very absorbent and great for cleaning spills or general cleaning. They work for dusting too! Also good for cooking applications like drying off something before searing. Easy to rip into smaller pieces for less waste and don’t leave little fuzzies when you use them. I recommend a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary for review purposes. I’ve always used Bounty paper towels because I just find them to be highly absorbent and sturdy. It doesn’t break apart easily when scrubbing tough stains, unlike a lot of other towel paper brands. What I especially appreciate about this product is that you have the option of using half size sheets, which is what I always opt for. I find this to be far less wasteful because I use less paper each time, and because it’s so absorbent, I don’t really need more than that.

I really like that I can use a little or even a lot and can tear off smaller sizes than other products offer which is simpler for me when cleaning up these messes my family makes.

A paper towel is not supposed to stain the items that it is supposed to clean. But that is exactly what happens with the "prints" select-a-size Bounty paper towel. Kitchen sprays cause the dye, especially the green dye, to bleed out of the paper towel and stain the surface you are cleaning. If you are going to buy Bounty, only buy the white version. Never buy the prints version or you'll have to replace the items that you tried to clean.

However, Bounty Paper towels always stand out. Just one sheet of this paper towel gives the same usefulness as 2 or 3 of the dollar store variety. They white thick and have a nice feel to it. One roll lasts me a couple months which is amazing considering I used to go through a roll in a couple weeks. Overall an amazing product which I would highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes Newer is Just Newer (…and Not Better) Bounty was one of the few brands our household *never* compromised on, even during soaring inflation costs. It’s also the brand I brought to my workplace—a public library—for the most delicate to messy cleaning tasks. While my commitment to the product—despite the price—has remained unwavering, the company appears to have fallen for gimmicks and inferior materials. The “web-like” texture is scratchy, stiff, and not as absorbent as its classic weave, and the sheets are thinner and do not hold up as they have in the past. This is the first time I have ever researched a standard “household supply” to post a review, and I do so to let other consumers know that, “Yes; something has changed about that terrific roll of Bounty you used to reach for,” and “No; you’re not alone in your experience.” Procter & Gamble…do better. Fix this. Sometimes newer is just newer…and you’ve messed with a classic.

These are the perfect size to use for my kids and the rolls tend to last longer in my household. They clean up spills with ease and are good for when I have to wipe up messes throughout the house.

Every time I buy the bulk packages of Bounty select a size - the rolls contain less sheets! They used to be huge!-- then went to 131 sheets per roll the last pkg had 109 per roll the one I bought this week has 92 sheets per roll! and the price keeps going UP! I guess they think we are to stupid to notice how we are being ripped off! Have always loved and bought bounty - I still buy them, BUT Hate what ALL manufacturers are doing to us the same thing -- NOT just bound!
