- 2 out of 5 stars review3/15/2010I have bought bounty regular and select a size for many years.I know that all companies cut down on size ,or quality thru the years to save money on their products,but your paper towels are a big disappointment for quite a while now. They used to have a better ''feel'' to them, a softer feel.i always buy them by the case,but I've just purchased my last case of either,espec ially the select a size.A friend told me that Brawny are much softer ,and they really are, and also absorb just fine. Hopefully other people have told you people the same thing, so that maybe you'll go back to the way they were.

I use a larger piece to clean up spilled milk from my son's breakfast. I am no longer wasting paper towels for small jobs, but I have plenty available for larger jobs!

So the many wasted sections of towel are not examples of quality or value.

I use them all the time! having kids around can use up the bigger size a lot quicker, but with the Select-A-Side has put an end to wasting my Bounty. It absorbs very quickly and I've been able to use it more that once. Nothing compares to Bounty. I would recommend it to all.

I HATE the regular paper towels, and now need to decide if I'm going to suffer through using 12 huge rolls of full size, or just take them to the Humane Society because I don't want to put up with them for the next 2 months. I'm done buying Bounty - been burned too many times with this and got a product I didn't want because they aren't packaged clearly. I shouldn't have to scrutinize the packaging this much just to buy the paper towels I want. I work hard enough at other things, this is ridiculous.

I was especially pleased with the issuance of the innovative select-a-size version, which cuts down on waste. Imagine my disappointment to find the deterioration in quality in my most recent purchase of a package of "6 super rolls = 11 regular rolls". Not only is the change in texture of the paper more course, the towels do not now tear easily or evenly. Very irritating!

We put it through a series of tests. 1: windex and stain on counter top. 2: syurp. 3: Honey. 4: Butter. 5: Honey and peanut butter mixed. 6: 1Lb 4.7oz of coins (only riped corner). 7: Iceing. Keep in mind this is all done by the same sheet of select a size. 8: Final test to pick up a 5lb dog that is when it finally broke.Just an amazing product that is all.

Try to tear off one, you get 1 1/2 or 3/4 of one or two. They're flimsier, won't tear right won't tear at the perforated line. Worse than the cheapest towel I've ever mistakenly bought. Hope you can fix the problem.

It looked as though I cleaned nothing, and had to re-do a ton of it. When I open the pack, white dust/link comes flying out. I'm sure this has something to do with the supply chain and lowering cost of manufacturing, but Bounty's reputation is tanking and once people find a replacement, they won't just come back. Please fix this issue.
