I've ridden the dickens out of this bike in the desert and in the mountains. It's a tough little ebike. Depending on terrain, the battery lasts about an hour to an hour and a half in loose gravel and sand and about 2 1/2 to three hours on pavement. Whether you're using it to explore the urban jungle or the forest, this little hard tail is an awesome bike.

I love the bike. It is solid. I’m an adult (70kg) and it drives well in hilly terrain. My son has hiboy c1 and both get same range even though this is a fat tire bike.

These are great! I wish the battery life was a little better or offered changeable batteries but this is still a fantastic bike especially for teens. It doesn't go super fast but still makes for a fun ride. The pedal assist is an absolute game changer but when it dies it's super hard to pedal. Overall I liked it so much I bought another and am considering buying 2 more.

I bought this bike about 1 year ago and it still performs great! I have 4 ebikes in total and this bike is my favorite and go to bike. It's compact but has the fat tires making it a very stable, versatile and super fun to ride!

This bike is exactly what I needed to navigate the Resort I work at. It took less than 15 minutes from box to first ride. I charged fully the first day and haven’t had to charge it since. I don’t use it a lot throughout the day but gets me from building to building. I absolutely love it!

I absolutely love this E bike! It has been so fun riding around town running errands and using this bike to get to my local train station and commute to work. The battery holds its charge and power. The ride is comfortable and has great pick up. Best of all the bike was super easy to put together. The directions were ultra clear and it took under 15 minutes from unboxing to taking my first ride. Highly recommend this bike for anyone looking to just enjoy a fun ride around town or to use daily in short commutes.

I had the previous version of this mini bike for a couple years, which was called the Jetson Atlas. I enjoyed it and when Sam's had this Shadow version on sale for $325 I decided to buy it. It's nearly identical to the Atlas. The main reason I rated it only 3 stars is because of the manufacturing problems. The first time I rode it I noticed the first defect right away. There was a rattle coming from inside the battery compartment. Any small bump would cause the rattle. Even riding on the sidewalk. I had a good idea what was causing the rattle, so I took apart the large plastic housing in the center of the bike. There are about 8 rubber knobs that you have to remove and underneath that are screws. After unscrewing everything I took the cover off and saw there was a small gap between the battery compartment and the housing holding it in place. The rattle was coming from this battery compartment bouncing around when going over bumps. I took a penny and slid it in that small gap and that stopped the rattling. While I had the cover off I was inspecting the wiring and I saw that the wire insulation feeding out from the front of the compartment was already chafed. It was not caused by me riding it because the bike was brand new. I believe whoever built this bike at the factory purposely cut some of the wire insulation off in this one area so that the wires would fit in the exit hole. I wrapped the chaffed wire with some electrical tape. The next issue I noticed, which is annoying, is the handlebar stem is very slightly rocking back and forth. It's not a tight fit and there's nothing I can do to tighten it. I unclipped the stem and folded it down to see inside and it's a manufacturing issue. Other than the manufacturing issues, I like this bike. It's by no means a fast bike, but it fits my needs. I ride it casually around my neighborhood or to the store. It's much safer than standing on a scooter and the fat tire is a huge plus for comfort and for preventing flat tires. Just remember to inflate the tires before riding it! Otherwise, you will get a flat and you'll have a hard time finding a shop to repair it. I like that the stem folds down, which makes it possible for me to fit this bike in the trunk of my car. The top speed of 15mph is accurate. Range is pretty close to what they say. I haven't run it to a completely dead battery yet, but I've gotten 15 miles with 1 battery bar left and I never use the pedals. Throttle only. Charging takes between 2-4 hours depending on how much battery I've used. I wish this had a thumb throttle like on most scooters. I don't like the twist throttle. On the previous version (Atlas) the entire right handlebar was a twist throttle. On this version, only half of the right handlebar is the throttle and it's just strange to use and hold while riding. I hope they switch to a thumb throttle in the future. I might exchange or return it because of the issues. The best thing is Sam's has a generous return policy.
