[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really been enjoying the Serta Five Star 8" Medium Mattress in a Box that I recently received. While I was initially a bit concerned that it wasn't as thick as my previous mattress, this turned out to be a non-issue. The comfort it provides is outstanding. I actually had the best night's sleep I've experienced in a long time on my very first night. There was no tossing and turning or overheating. It was perfect.

Appreciate the easy set up. It has been extremely comfortable, not too soft, yet not too firm and a great addition to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging was easy to bring in the house, shrink wrapped, ripped the plastic apart and it opened up quickly on the bed frame. Many inches of cushion and support. It is like laying on a cloud! Value is 10/10 worth it. Easy to set up and sleep on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome bed in a box! We needed an extra bed for our cabin and this bed in a box made it so easy to bring one up there in our regular car. The mattress is high quality and comfortable, and the price is reasonable.

You just open the box and cut open the plastic, and the mattress starts to expand. I gave it a couple of days before I tried it out, but both my son and I have slept on it, and it is super comfortable. When I need to replace my youngest sons mattress I will definitely be purchasing a Serta.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed by how compact this mattress was when it arrived! It's the first time our household has received a matress in the mail. The mattress expanded rapidly once removed from the packaging. It is quite a firm mattress. If you have a nugget couch, it's much more firm than that. I do think it will soften over time. I have no issues sleeping on it though. The only downside, was that the packaging the mattress came in needed more tape to keep it closed. Other than that, it's a great product and we're planning on buying the queen sized version of this mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s totally a surprise for me that this thick mattress came in a box! Its change everything regarding buying a new one! It’s great value for the money, and as I know this company it’s very comfortable and long lasting!

The mattress was very uncomfortable, even after trying to break it in over a few months. Also, the mattress never fully expanded. It was a few inches shorter than the advertised length and about an inch less wide than what was advertised. The length was the most concerning part and left a gap that was unsafe for my toddler. I am returning it.
