I use the steam option often on my husband's clothes to avoid ironing. The washer also fits perfectly in our bedroom closet.

I love the Accela Wash option to speed it up and also the fact that Active Spray nozzles deep clean clothes. So many wash cycle selections (15!) such as Jeans, Wool, Towels, Delicates - just to name a few! The steam option and sanitize wash cycle are Godsends!

Great cleaning cycle options for a compact unit. Especially like the unique wool, workout and jeans cycle. Simple controls panel is self explanatory. Love that you can stack these units for smaller spaces. Kenmore is a trustworthy brand and meets modern standards with this unit.

Without using the washer to wash clothing here are my thoughts. - Lots of wash options - Plastic on top makes dryer feel cheap. - Detergent try feels cheap - I do not like the texture on the knob - I do not like not being able seeing all options on the control panel at once I would not purchase this washer
