Installation was easy using only a Phillips screwdriver when replacing a previous fixture and took about 20 minutes. The photosensitive feature is perfect and saves energy. Once the sun sets the light shines and brightens the entranceway. My son was impressed and said he would be on the lookout for Cedar Hill products when doing his home projects. Now I need a pressure washer for the siding :)

It didn’t sit flush for us but we found a way to make it work we have to buy an extra square peice at hardware store ! Our siding is smaller than the plate ! But I love how it looks rich to me ! Plan on buyer more to Match the others on our house ! It works great for under an already bc it hangs down instead of up low most ! So the longest part is power below plate !

The black finish & textured glass give it a classic, elegant appearance. It feels very sturdy & well-made. It's heavier & larger than I expected, which makes it seem like a quality fixture. I also liked that it came with a light bulb, so we had everything we needed to get it up & running. The built-in dusk-to-dawn feature works exactly as it should, automatically turning on in the evening & off in the morning, which is very convenient. Installation wasn't completely smooth. My husband installed it & the wires kept coming loose as he pushed the wiring back into the electrical box to mount the light. He ended up taking it down & reinstalling it several times before getting everything to stay connected. Once that was sorted out, though, it worked perfectly. Overall, we're very happy with how it looks & performs. It's a beautiful, durable-looking light that we're glad to have on our front porch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cedar Hill black dusk to dawn outdoor wall lantern is the perfect addition to our back porch. I love the high quality, classic style lantern and the look of frosted glass. My favorite feature is that is will turn off and on automatically at dusk and dawn with out us having to flip a switch. The installation was easy and didn’t take long at all. It’s a lightweight lantern but has held up well to outdoor weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over all great light fixture, easy to install. It is almost to big for my application, but I was replacing a fixture that is over 60 hrs old! Works great, lights up alot of yard/sidewalk(approximately 40x60 area). Construction seems sturdy to last, but kansas weather will be the real test. I took one star beacuse light sensor shuts it off when motion activated lights come on.

Not up to Sams club standards! This lamp is tiny! The ripple "glass" is PLASTIC. There is zero glass in this item! Almost the entire piece is PLASTIC, NOT GLASS AND ALUMINUM as described. The overhead arm might be aluminum, maybe. The rest of it is not! The mounting bracket is tiny flimsy stamped steel. The base shell is thin plastic. Resembles construction of an interior bathroom light. Would never last thru a northeast winter or 100 degree summer. Am returning. Will buy something else.
