It really did make me feel like I was at a hotel. The towel has great depth, so it absorbs much more than the average towel. Very gentle on the skin and of course the length is superb. This is made of 100%cotton but it's not that heavy dense scratchy type. It's so plush and soft you feel like you're wrapped in your favorite, soft, ever so comfy bathrobe.It has amazing absorbency and dos NOT leave a ton of lint in your dryer lint trap which happens with the towels I use regularly.
