Powerful little guy.

This little machine packs a punch. I am impressed. I used it on the patio, the house, the windows and the grill. My grill plates look almost brand new. It is very stable if you need to pull it around. Between the long cord and the long hose I was able to set it up between both my patios and clean both without ever having to move it. However, the soap set up is worthless as the soap only winds up on the ground. It makes no foam. I had to buy a foam cannon. I can’t take the soap container off to clean out the soap I put in it. It’s not a big enough deal to kill my joy. I had a ton of fun using this little guy. I can’t wait to tackle the front of the house and the trash cans. I also love how everything stores neatly on board and stays in place while moving the machine around.

Nice Little Machine

My previous pressure washer, sporadically used, sat outside under the eaves for a few months. Upon trying to use it, it was stone dead. I diagnosed a GFCI failure, replaced it, and the unit powered up but there was only unpressureized output. At this point I decided to replace it. Research into reasonably-affordable pressure washers led me to this unit. I was surprised to find that Westinghouse made units such as this. In the days before computers, my father worked for Westinghouse designing blades for the huge steam turbines that power electric generation plants. I pictured the company as only dealing with huge industrial machines, so this was quite unexpected. The unit came well packaged in a very substantial carton. Assembly was simple, mostly entailing sliding various plastic pieces together. The instructions were somewhat on the skimpy side for someone unfamiliar with the unit; I would have appreciated a little more detail. I found a video online showing the process, so that plus the instructions was fine. A couple of the pieces were a bit balky to install, so a spritz of silicon spray easily solved the issue. The unit is delightfully small, even with the stabilizing outrigger wheels. I've used it a couple times, first to blast some moss or algae mysteriously growing on my aluminum shake roof, and then to rinse off some large windows. I haven't tried the soap blending facility yet; that would presumably do a better job on the winows. And I blasted a surprising amount of dirt from my sliding patio door tracks. The manual didn't identify the various colored nozzles. They had raised plastic numbers that these aging eyes couldn't discern. I took a picture and enlarged it, enabling me to learn the values. I wrote R G and Y in the manual next to the listed angle values. Then I noticed that the warranty request card had the values listed. Oh well. Both the electrical cord and the output hose are impressively long. I'm very happy with the Westinghouse unit. A couple minor gripes if I might: 1. The output hose is rather platic like and kinks easily. My old unit had a rubber hose and if by some miracle the connections are identical, I'll replace the Westinghouse hose. 2. They apparently expect users to unscrew the 14" lance from the trigger unit to store in the two receptacles on the machine's side. As one unit, it isn't well supported in the much shorter vertical space available. I don't like that. 3. There's no drain on the soap tank, unlike my old unit. When I use that feature, I'll have to either invert the machine or purchase a turkey baster. These are not big complaints. Based on my early experiences with the 3500, I can recommend it to anyone needing a non-nuclear household pressure washer.

The ePX3500 is a great pressure washer!

This ePX3500 pressure washer is everything I hoped it would be. I have about 4000 square feet of concrete with over 10 years of grime and mildew. I didn't want to deal with a gas powered machine and its noise, but was concerned whether an electric washer would cut through the gunk. The ePX3500 does! I'm about halfway through my job and completely satisfied with this unit. The 25° nozzle works well on the lightly dirty areas, and the 15° nozzle cuts through the heaviest mildewed areas. It also worked well cleaning caked on pollen residue and grime from my car. I expect to use this unit occasionally throughout the year for various jobs, and highly recommend it. Assembly was relatively easy, although the assembly diagram and instructions could be more clear. There is no mention in the parts list, diagrams, or assembly instructions of the lower power cord or upper hose retainers. But when you have two parts left over at the end it's relatively easy to figure out where they go.

NIce Power Washer in a Small Package

The ePX3100 is a great power washer. I was surprised that it was so small and light weight. It does the job and the quick change nozzles are a nice option. The 5 nozzles are different degrees of spray that cover any job and there is a high pressure nozzle as well. All in all this is an awesome little power washer.

Great gift

Received the ePX3100 power washer as a christmas gift. Haven't used it yet but it appears to be throughtfully designed and well-built. I like that it has 4 swiveling, lockable, casters instead of 2 wheels, which makes it easier to manouver. Also appreciate the Velcro strap to secure the hose. The bonus gift of 5 extra nozzels is a nice plus, as well.

Nice little unit

Bought this to use when I dont want to bring out my gas powered unit. Unbound and put it together easily. Very clear instructions in the manual Used it today same day I got it. Power washed some bird bombs off my window and siding on the second story side of my house. It did pretty well for being that high from the ground. Got the job done. This stuff sat and got baked on for 3 days from the hot hawaii sun. Tested it on dirty concrete from potted plants and cleaned the dirt away easily. It will be a nice washer for small stuff that pops up when you want a quick setup. Definately will be using it weekly for car washing and foam cannon. Happy with the purchase.

Great overall product

I bought this recently and was in need for a good pressure washer. It did just what i wanted it to do. All of my bricks were dirty and looked worn down, but when i pressure washed it, it looked good as new. This is a great pressure washer for starters as I had tried many and they did not do the job as well as this one. Thanks!

Powerful and Great Price

I just got this pressure washer and tried it out today. It did not disappoint. Assembly was super easy. I like the 5 different pressure nozzles. I mostly used the turbo and 25 degree nozzles since I use it for washing the cars. The 4 wheels are a nice touch, as it won't tip over and will follow you around while you're using it. Since it's electric, don't expect it to perform like a gas powered washer. But it should work just fine for general cleaning around the house. Unlike gas, it shuts off when you release the handle on the nozzles. I would buy it again. Maybe I'll get a gas version in the future to help me tackle the tough cleaning jobs around the house.
