Are these like real Country Fried Steaks? No. However, they are really quite meaty, quick and easy to cook up, and the flavor is very acceptable. I rather like having these Country Fried Steaks, in my freezer ... Especially, for those days where I am tired or having had a hectic day or just because I want to eat them. There is just 2 of us, in our household, so having a variety of frozen entrée products, really helps my grocery purchasing. The gravy that comes with them is excellent, and quick and easy to make. I recommend this product, to family and friends.

I was a little skeptical about buying these but I noticed there was only one bag left so I figured they must be popular, and I was not disappointed at all! These are better than most I've ordered at a restaurant. I didn't try the gravy though, I made my own. I will definitely be buying these regularly. Yummm!

Sometimes my husband needs food NOW, or 5 minutes ago. Sure, maybe you've had better chicken-fried steaks elsewhere, but these are FAST! He was surprised that I could serve these up, with gravy, added my instant mashed potatoes and salad, in mere minutes! Soothed the savage beast/caveman. Another crisis solved.

GREAT WITH SCRAMBLED EGGS AND BISCUITS!! GOOD OLD COUNTRY STYLE BRESKFAST YUMMMMMM..OH IM NOT YELLING WITH THE CAPS, MY PHONES ACTING WEIRD, LOL. CANT TYPE IN LOWERCASE..SMARTPHONES ARE VERY DUMB SOMETIMES!

I don't understand the people who gave this a bad review. These are so amazing. With a side of mashed potatoes, I also put the gravy on them, a vegetable & a roll/biscuit. A perfectly delicious meal.

These are sooooooo GOOD! Wish they would give more packets of gravy but I know they don't because they figure they'll all be eaten by the 2nd go round! Small families take longer though. Also wish they were a little less pricey. These are a TREAT for us because they really are kind of out of our budget. But if you don't have to live in a budget, they are YUMMY! So stock up and feast!!

I have bought this several times, and have been re-miss in not reviewing it. I love it! So does my family. Very easy to make and the gravy is something I could probably eat alone on top of mashed potatoes (which is what I make with this dish). I have been quite ill the past few months and cooking is not something that interested me. After trying this for the first time, my family and I knew we had found a wonderful meal that we would eat more than once. Congratulations to the manufacturer - your product is a staple in my freezer.

Meat is there but very thin mostly batter taste and cooked in confection oven ... soo much grease .... I wont be eating the rest of this purchase ....

For about 2 years (2016 & 2017), I purchased these & ate them for a decent, quick meal with some protein. By 2018, they were repackaged. Name of product stayed the same. Newer version is VERY greasy & VERY tough. Nothing at all like the previous product. The Country Fried steaks are now disgusting. Try at your own risk. I'll never purchase these again.

I purchased these after reading the reviews. I was extremely disappointed in the flavor.
