might be better off saving your money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure if it's a software problem but whatever operating system is on this TV is very slow and laggy even with the best of the best internet I've tried it on fiber and I've also tried it with the most expensive star link plan there's no difference there that's how I know it's the TV and not a internet connection. The interface itself also is very disappointing there's all these recommended garbage things that I don't want and I actually have to scroll down through the trash to find my actual apps or the actual features that I'm looking for which is very inconvenient for me I like to be able to turn on a TV and go instantly to where I want kind of like the Roku settings are. So keep that in mind when you're designing other things. There's also an issue with a lot of the pre-downloaded programs. They will not let you delete them you can go through the whole deleting process and you can click okay to delete and it still stays there as well as new things you download you have to delete them three maybe five times before they'll actually be removed from your TV. The lack of an input section is fairly confusing I'm young so I was able to figure it out pretty quickly but for an elderly person I do not think this thing would be a good choice. I also don't like the fact that Samsung monitors everything I play on the TV for advertisement purposes and sells that data that's very bothersome and disturbing to me and if I would have known that before I spent the money I would not have purchased this TV. I am sick of being tracked with every little thing I do! Honestly if this TV wasn't so difficult to hang I would have returned it because of what I have described above.
Hi ktmrider77, We appreciate your detailed feedback. Please know your opinion is important to us and will be shared with our internal teams. We recommend ensuring your TV is running the latest Firmware, version 1132.0. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV: 1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manual & Software > Find your TV model, and click on the Firmware – Upgrade File. 2. When the file has finished downloading, locate it and then unzip it. There is normally one folder inside but there may be multiple files. 3. Copy or move all of the files that were included in the zip file to a USB flash drive, but do not place them inside any other folders. If you place the software folders inside a folder on the USB flash drive, the TV or monitor will not find them. 4. Connect the USB drive containing the software upgrade into a USB port on your device. 5. Using your device's remote, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support. Select Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes if prompted. Your device will search the USB drive for update files. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, it will restart automatically. If you need additional support, Samsung is here to help. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, available 8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun. Great for the entire family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a television for the entire family this is it. Our kids love all the games they have access to, they're also great for movie night. Samsung tv is amazing providing additional tv channels free of cost. The vibrancy of the picture is something that can only be experienced in person, it's truly amazing. Samsung security is top notch requiring you to login to gain access to stored information and also along your to add additional security for your safety. If you're considering purchasing this television or any Samsung television you should do it, you won't regret it.
Good Buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Samsung 65-inch TV has been amazing so far. The picture quality is super clear and vibrant, especially when watching movies and sports. The sound is decent, and the smart TV features are easy to use. Definitely a great upgrade for our living room and worth the purchase
Wall installations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're having difficulty mounting it on the wall because the back of the mounting bar sits lower. Once we install it, the top side of the TV leans forward, making it feel unstable and like it might fall down. That’s why we had to place it on top of the table instead..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] has a very great security system the picture quality is outstanding bright and bold and it all around is a great TV very pleased with my product also has very great resolution and is very vibrant love the Aesthetics of it
Good TV, But May Not Work With Your Cable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has a great picture and the sound is good, too. However, we have found it more difficult to use compared to our 2017 similar Samsung model. We have to use the "antenna" setting to get our cable channels via coax at our complex. We ended up getting a HDMI connected cable box to see these channels as the TV's tuner would not let us change channels. When we tried to change a manual entered channel, we were put in the plus channels. It was a slow process to just see the local channels. Also, while there was a channel guide, but the TV was unable to display any of the information. At least the channel numbers came up. Our older TV did not have any problems like these. I know these new sets have many, many advanced features, but for someone who needs the basic, it did not meet our needs and is frustrating to use. Samsung's support is excellent and helpful, but they did not have a clue how to help. Maybe our situation is unique, but we have had our enjoyment diminished because of having to go to an external streaming boxes to get the channels we want to watch.
Hi Horserunner, We appreciate your purchase and feedback on connecting external devices. If you would like to further troubleshoot the cable box and antenna issue, we would be happy to help. Bedroom tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s fine for a bedroom TV, but nothing special. The picture quality is decent for the price 4K content looks sharp enough, and colors are okay, though not particularly vibrant. Sound is pretty average, so you might want a soundbar if you care about audio. The biggest downside is the interface. It feels cluttered and a bit slow at times, with too many menus and apps pushed in your face. It does what it’s supposed to do, but navigating it can be a bit annoying. Overall, it serves its purpose as a secondary TV. Not amazing, not terrible..just kind of there.

Great TV for value and size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beautiful TV has the perfect brightness for any room. The full 4k resolution and vibrant colors never get washed out by light. The connectivity can handle a myriad of devices without leaving anything out.
LOVE&HATE IT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 55‑inch Samsung TV is amazing — the resolution is so sharp it could probably spot your neighbor’s Wi‑Fi password. Colors pop like they had three cups of coffee, and the picture is so clear you’ll start judging actors’ pores like you’re a dermatologist. Even the remote feels powerful, like you’re controlling a tiny universe of pixels that obey your every command… except when it randomly decides to ignore you just to keep things spicy.

Not a fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cheap tv. It's very slow and not bright even when adjusting the color. I don't care for the setup line. I LOVE SAMSUNG. My family phones and other tvs are all samsung BUT this tv disappointed me so much. The pro is the samsung channels. I do like that it has its own tv channels .
Hi Shirls, We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U7900F TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer. You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode • Standard – Default mode for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms • Movie – Best for dark room viewing • Eco – Energy-saving mode • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference. Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now We hope these tips help improve your viewing experience.
