The fit is comfortable -

The fit is comfortable - didn't even realize I was wearing them. I enjoy that I can hear what's happening around me (like talking with fellow runners), and the music is still clear. I can also crank the volume if I only want to focus on my music. Sound comes through crisp and clear.

Great sound and feel but...

I love how they feel on my ear and the sound quality. But for some reason I get audio glitches.... happens a few times out of a day. I'd give them 5 stars if not for that issue... will likely swap them out for another pair. Hoping I just got a faulty set and this isn't a common issue.

Overall I like them

So I am a customer since the aeropex by aftershocks days and I absolutely love the original style. I thought I’d give these new ones a try when it came time to replace an older pair. After a couple months, I am pretty happy with them, sometimes I do wish I had stuck with the original 1 piece design but these are still 10x better than something you have to jam up inside your earhole . Sound is great, they stay on, the multipoint pairing is awesome and they intuitively jump back and forth between my tablet and phone with no need to sync up they do it automatically. After a few hours of wear, your ears can become slightly sensitive as they gently squeeze the ear to stay in place. All in all they’re solid, just depends on preference but I will never jam a headphone in my ear again while these are around.

Good headphones, but could be better

I do like these headphones, but I wish the sound got a little louder. I am completely deaf in my left ear so I use only the right headphone. For the most part, all the sound will come through one side but sometimes it’s too quiet even at max volume or it cuts out a bit like it’s trying operate in stereo and send some of the sound to the left bud. You can customize the touch settings but it is limited. I wish it had more freedom to change the settings there. Previously I used a pair of bone conduction headphones and those worked better sound wise, but the multi-point pairing was glitchy and the comfortability wasn’t as good. I wish Shokz could merge the good things about both units and make them amazing, especially if it could work in single ear bud mode.

First days using the OpenFit Air

The sound is great and stronger for windy and places with more background noise. They do switch on the audio while attempting to place the on the ears, which is a bit annoying when you don't have them in place yet and an audiobook starts playing. They tend to cause some behind the ear discomfort with eye glasses unless situated just right.

Best headphones I’ve had!

I’ve been spending more time outside walking and jogging and I hated how my ears felt wearing my AirPods after. I switched to on ear Beats and hated that, too. I was originally looking at the Shokz bone conduction headphones but liked the true wireless aspect of the open air. I was pleasantly surprised by both the fit and the sound. I row, and I jog, and they stay on with no problem at all no matter how much movement I do. They’re so lightweight it’s easy to forget they’re even there. And the most important part: the sound is fantastic!! I like that you can download their app and control the sound, and also personalize shortcuts for tapping/long pressing each one. The only hiccup so far is they can be paired to switch between two devices seamlessly. So I have to choose between my watch, my phone, and my iPad. But honestly everything else makes up for that.

Very nice but…

These fit great and the sound quality is excellent. The only problem was that I couldn’t hear anything from them while wearing hearing protection for mowing the lawn or at work. I had to return them and get a pair of open air headphones that actually sound better while wearing earplugs.

Great for some but not all applications

I was looking for some open-ear earbuds with the hope that these would replace some in-ear earbuds that I already use for teaching yoga online, running, just wearing around, etc. Where these really excel is sound quality. Where they fall short is how securely they stay in place on my ears when I wear them and move around a lot (such as during teaching yoga). I'm keeping them because I love how they sound and will use them for work and other less active activities. I'm not confident enough in them staying in place to trail run with them across streams or teach yoga with them. One other minor issue is that it's easier to inadvertently bump the "controls" on the buds than with other Shokz headsets that I've had, unintentionally pausing/playing/adjusting volume.

Sounds Great Materials Horrible

I've ALWAYS had Shokz since yall started. I love how comfortable they are and how clear everything comes thru. I'm hard of hearing so it isnt always easy to find something that works but your products have the right amount of loudness that is enough for me to enjoy music and my audio books. I was excited to try these news ones as the others ones the wire that lays somewhat on the neck is uncomfortable with a collar shirt for my uniform. Unfortunately an hr into wearing them I got rash of a lifetime! I went to the doctor got it cured. Disinfected them and tried it again. My Rashad came back with a vengeance. Needless to say the 3rd time I tried it didn't work either. Not sure what changed but can't wear 'em. So I gave them away. Bought Bose the new ones ... so much more expensive. No rash but horrible sound. I will return them and hopefully wait till yall can make something of quality materials.

Really want to like these but the touch controls may be too sensitive

I've been using the OpenRuns for a couple of years and love it, but thought I'd give these a try. I really like the feel on my ears, and the sound is quite good. Both my runs this weekend wearing these were problematic, though. I don't know if it was sweat, or my hair, or even the wind, but they kept activating on their own - the volume just kept going up and up without me touching the right earpiece. Then, the left one got into the act, and it sounded like a ping pong match - beep on the left and volume goes down, beep on the right and volume goes up, and back and forth, all without me touching anything. I guess I could disable that particular touch setting, but that seems kind of counterproductive. Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the touch controls?
