NOT ANYMORE...I was tired of the cheap batteries and having to change them so often. The Energizer Max Alkaline batteries are amazing!!! I remember the old slogan... Living in California, I keep a packed emergency bag in case I ever have to leave the house in a hurry due to a wildfire threat. The Energizer batteries I own have proven themselves to be a long lasting and I always keep a spare set for my small flashlight in the bag because I trust them till last without corroding if they haven't been used for quite a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Energizer Max are my go to when I need batteries for remotes andsmall dc powered appliances. I know I can rely on these to not only power up, but keep running long past most other battery brands, and I've tried them all.

I'm a repeating purchaser of these batteries. These are not the best in class but have never failed on me. I use these mainly to flash light. I also buy Energizer AA often for Canon SpeedLite flash on 6D and they take decent amount of pictures (about 500 to 700) before they drain out. I have used rechargeable batteries as well but these are better than rechargeable. They may vary in draining depending on usages but what can be harsh than using them in a flash light on regular basis! I can recommend these to anyone for versatile usage purpose including AA for camera flash.
