The machine using the energizer batteries is still going. I’ve restocked the bubbles several times. The machine that used off brand batteries has already had them replaced. If you've ever bought store brand batteries, you know they are cheaper but do not last very long. I like to use these for my kids toys since they're long lasting. To insert the batteries in toddler and baby toys, you have to unscrew the lid so it only makes sense to use long lasting batteries to avoid having to frequently replace the difficult toys.
