New square containers might be better for the refrigerator but they are terrible if you want to freeze them. The old containers left some head space on top but the new ones did not.

Be careful to look for Expiration Date because if it sits out on the loading dock or store aisles for long periods between refrigeration the chance it will last until Expiration without going Sour are low.

The tamper evident packaging is ridiculously difficult to remove by hand. I don't feel I should have to resort to using a utility knife or sharp scissors or pliers just to open a gallon of milk. I could do that, but it shouldn't be necessary. Accordingly, I tend to purchase milk elsewhere.

The milk quality itself is very good. But the idiots that engineered that jug should be....ok.. nuff said.. Absolutely the hardest I have ever seen trying to remove that tabbed seal under the cap... HOW MUCH EFFORT would it be to use one of the peel off stips on the caps??? You know, Like KROGER MILK!!! LOL I should not have to use a pocket knife to stab and peel that crappy thing off! And Like others reported, Pouring it spills almost every time because the jug is designed to be stackable, NOT Convenient for us consumers....

The milk is fine👍 The container is awful‼️‼️ The SEAL under the cap is a joke! It has a pull tab designed so that it can be gripped and simply pulled off. TOTALLY impossible. Because of the adhesive being used, the tab must be STABBED with a knife! Then it must be pried off with that knife! Inconvenient AND frustrating when you just want a glass of milk. I avoid purchasing milk from Sam's whenever possible.

I want to love this mill but I don't. I'll buy it in a pinch but I typically avoid it. I normally just get great value from Wal-Mart. A few years ago we had four in a row that went bad a day or two after opening them and we bought and opened them way before the date on the jug. So we stopped buying it. Now I will save I have bought it twice in the past three years with no issues but it's just not my favorite. And did they get rid of the childproof packaging under the lid? I can't open that crap and I don't have nails.

usually i love how the milk has a shelf life of at least 2 weeks in fridge, partly because i use a cooler to transport it home from the store and keep my fridge at about 34 degrees, But lately the milk has been going sour before the sell by date. This usually means the milk is not being kept cold enough or got warm somewhere along the way in transit. Disappointing, but hopefully they fix this quickly.
