didnt read description and thought it was a traditional box spring. opened the box and saw all the pieces and was going to return. wound up putting it together. (very easy) and it turned out perfect. set it on top of a traditional queen size bed frame with mattress on top.easy to take apart for moving or storage.

I liked the idea of having a box spring replacement that i could take apart if i ever needed to (for size reasons). My kids and I put it together and it was a fun project. it probably took us 45 minutes or so. We did get a little confused about which way the cover was supposed to go, but we figured it out eventually. Overall, I think it is going to be great.

This box spring requires assembly. There is a metal frame that comes in many pieces which need to be bolted together. Not all the holes lined up correctly on mine. Metal bars cross from side to side and a thin fabric cover goes over the metal frame. I was concerned about the stability, but it has turned out to be more comfortable than anticipated. Another advantage is that it is light weight and easier to move than a traditional box spring, but still requires 2 people to move efficiently. I am concerned about the long term durability, but it has only been 2 months in use, so I cannot comment on that at this point.

Bought on sale. Assembly was easy and fast. Nobody has used it yet but it appears sturdy enough. My only criticism is that the support slats that run horizontally across the frame fallbout too easily when the thing is mived around very much. Other than that, I am pleased with my purchase.

Best box spring I ever purchased. Totally fooled me with the box it came in. Easy assembly and good directions. Quality in every part. Sturdy and well made, cover fits perfectly and easy to cover. Extremely well made. Would definitely recommend.

this product was well made, an fits it purpose .However, it took HOURS to assemble as there wasn't any illustrations nor INSTRUCTIONS with the product. This was ordered for my granddaughter and shipped to her address and I couldn't help them at all as I was in a different city.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace my 8-year-old wooden frame box spring which had broken. Being a big guy (6'4" 320lbs), I was looking for a metal frame box spring. The price drew me to this one. This box spring was easy to put together. It is very sturdy. The only downside was that it felt like I could "feel" the metal frame of the box spring through my memory foam mattress. Maybe that was because my mattress is 8-years-old as well. I bought a 3" mattress topper and that fixed that issue.

I had learned before delivery that the box spring needed to be assembled. All parts are a strong metal. The assembly was made simple because the parts were clearly marked where they joined, all nuts and bolts were also clearly marked, and the tools to assemble were included. The twin xl I purchased fit perfectly into the bed frame. Definitely a good purchase.

The product arrived faster than the date given which was fantastic! It was pretty easy to assemble and because of it’s material it will out last any “normal” box spring. It is quite difficult to get the outer covering on but with a little help we did it. I’m completely satisfied.

I ordered this for a box bed frame and mattress that was just not high enough to get up from comfortably with bad knees. It shipped in a manageable sized box. It consists of a metal framework that needs assembly and a fabric box springs cover with zipper. It was very easy to put together, and it seems to be strong enough to support 200+ pounds. We assembled it in the living room and moved it into a small bedroom. It is very light, but sturdy. My opinion is that it is well made. We've been using it about a week, so it is too soon to know its' longevity, but I don't anticipate any problems.
