I could be prematurely reviewing this, meaning it probably is a good a box frame. However, putting it together was very difficult. The directions coupled with the way the pieces were labeled were hard to read and the screws were very finicky when assembling, even with a drill. So again, my rating is not based on the quality of the product but rather on the assembly.

Unpacked box. Tried to follow the "Easy as 123 " photo instructions. Useless. There weren't 2 "#1" peices. Actually thought one of them wasn't in box. Shipping said 9 frame peices. There were 9. Finally looked at bed frame picture. Laid out peices on bed frame. Only thing I used instruction sheet for was to see which screws went where. Could have saved myself 15 minutes if I just would have done that in the first place.

Box springs have... springs. This doesn't. It's a metal torture rack no different than every other cheap foundation made for beds today. Anyone born after 2000 probably doesn't even know what a real night's sleep is. Box springs have actual springs, not metal coils that don't move. Imagine the difference between sleeping on a metal slab and sleeping on a trampoline with give. Box springs have SPRINGS. This doesn't.

The frame pieces could?ve been labeled and the fabric cover could?ve been a little bit bigger. The pieces that like hold the mattress just lock in. Sorta wished there was at least the option to screw them into place. All in all it does its job, fits our frame well. Very firm sadly but that?s my bad for not realizing that it wasn?t an actual box spring.

Almost 24 hours (in 2 hours it will be 24hrs) and the mattress is very firm and the coils can be felt poking through the top layer is very thin like very thin its like a sponge on top of springs if you lay on top you can feel them the card said to wait 72 hours will be back when the time is up and will update.

Bought this for my new bed that requires a box spring. I dreaded it because I remembered how the squeaky wooden ones used to drive me crazy. These smart box springs are not only easy to assemble but are solid and offer great support. Bet of all, they are quiet. NO SQUEAKING OR ANY OTHER SOUNDS!! To top it off my memory foam mattress is so much more better supported that it changed the feel of the mattress. My expectations have been far exceeded and believe me you will not regret purchasing this box spring.

i wasnt amazed because i previously had purchased a zinus mattress but what was cool was how easy it was to put together, cover and slip onto the frame under the mattress (yes i know i did everything backwards ) and how everything came together like clockwork.Thanks Zinus!

I purchased to replace a squeaky wooden box spring - very satisfied with the purchase. I did not read the some assembly blurb so my husband was surprised when it arrived in 4 days. It needs full assembly! Not too difficult but assembly is not "some" and the instructions are sketchy at best. My husband assembled by himself including putting on the cover. It looked perfect and fits perfectly in the king frame. Tracking number was not accurate for Fed Ex so we could not track purchase; however it arrived quickly. Definitely would recommend but know you need to completely assemble. Be patient or don't order it.

it fits my queen bed perfectly, so easy to assembly, so much convenience, I couldn't happier, so glad I didn't order wooden box from furniture stores that I called around asked for price. it's more expensive, plus delivery 45.00 within 5 miles, and not easy to move around. Just perfect.

This Box Spring needs some assembly. My wife and I are 73 years old and had it assembled in less than one hour. This item is the best "thought through" assembly I have ever seen. You will literally never have to replace this box spring. 1st class parts from beginning to end, looks great, and will perform great. I promise it will surpass all of your expectations.
