A lot of assembly required. I returned this Item. Looked super cheap.

Lots of pieces but went together pretty easy.

This item will be delivered in a small box, so don't be alarmed. Assembly is required, but is easy! This is a metal frame box covered in fabric. It is not a "spring" by any means, but then again neither are the wooden ones ;) This is very sturdy and quiet and also a great value. I haven't had to move it from my home, but I imagine that would be pretty easy as well.

We have a king size bed and with the mattress and box springs a foot thick as well. I needed a step stool to get in the bed. I started having a problem with my back so we went to the 4 inch box springs and they were perfect. I was a little nervous about the assembly part but it was a snap even for two old people. I was nervous about the cover but we laid the cover on the bed with the zipper open and but the frame in and tucked in the corners and zipped it right up. Easy Peasy!
