Good pie but more sweet than I like

In the past, we purchased the pies that were made onsite. They were very reasonably priced and as good if not better than homemade! Recently we decided to treat ourselves and realized the pies were manufactured offsite. The crust is hard, thick, and overworked. Past pies from onsite baking had crusts that were light, flakey, with a "melt in your mouth" feel. The cherry filling has always been great but this new crust ruins it. Hopefully enough people will stop buying this so they can go back to doing what worked and what we really enjoyed getting.

Ordered the Cherry Pie in my delivery order for Aug 8. When i checked the pie was expired by 4 days ( Aug 4 best by date). The crust was soggy and the filling appeared gummy. Very disappointed as I was going to serve it for dessert to some friends.
