[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the AC went out in our shop, we bought the Apex 2000 and was easy to get going right out of the box. Cooled down the space in the middle of the summer. With the WiFi controls the fan was running when we got in and turned off at night.

This Portacool Apex 2000 is lightyears ahead of my older units and other competitors. Its wifi communications is a game changer for us. We can remotely control several units at once and create a schedule from the app. We use these for a large Aviary Bird and Pet areas. We live in Las Vegas where the summers are brutal on everything especially pets. Being able to remotely view temperatures and very operating status is fantastic and a stress reducer. We no longer have to run out to check on every unit during peek heat, we just go to the iPhone app and check status. The Variable speed direct drive motor is far more energy efficient, very quiet and reliable. I have been a Portacool customer for 25 years, in fact the first unit I purchased is still in service.

It Dropped the temp of my 54x30 shop from 97 to 81...big difference!!! I use a small transfer pump to winterize it,so no need for a drain,which would be a place for it to leak...It is easy to move around my shop,even even while full of water...Easy to maintain...Love it!!!...I would highly recommend it!!! Like I said Cooler is Cool!!! 😎💦🏝️

The other one worked great for a minute and then had some issues called portacool and they sent new parts FAST (of course no charge) and everything worked great no other issues. Everybody was wonderful to deal with and fans are still going strong!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased two Apex 2000 last Summer. Large but not too huge for my patio. Appreciate how quiet it is while still putting out the necessary cooling. Didn’t think I needed all of the features, but really like the shut off timer. Highly recommended.

THIS THING WORKS AMAZING, I HAVE A 40X50 SHOP AND IT DOES A GREAT JOB OF COOLING THE AREA I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

We use it in a hvac shop but it definitely helps taking the heat out when doors have to be opened constantly

Love the WiFi function that lets me control it. It has been working great and keeps us very cool in 100 degree weather and up.
