[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westcott 12" Multi-Purpose Personal Trimmer is a welcome addition to my classroom. I need to cut and trim paper very often as a teacher and having this trimmer is making my work easier. It is easy to use and transport if I want to take it home as well. The spring loaded blade system makes cutting a breeze and provides clean, straight cuts. Additionally, the lift up arm helps to place the paper easier. Having the rubber footings on the bottom is a plus as well as the trimmer stayed in place as I used it.

The blade was sharp and it cut smooth. I like that the blade holder is see through so you can see your lines when not cutting a straight up and down line. The blade finger grips are a nice touch. The only thing I wish was different is the width of the measuring part for wider pieces of paper. I like that it came with 2 blades as well. Overall, it is a nice little paper trimmer for basic needs.

I have to cut the transfer paper to size, and I need them as straight as possible. The thing I really like about this one is that I can see exactly where to set the paper to get it as close to the image as possible. On other models that I have used, I have to use the blade and hope I set it close to the image. It cuts the paper like butter. The blades are inexpensive, and they are simple to replace. The markings also help me to get the paper in there straight and even. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Like the degree feature. Push button on blade is nice. Only wish ruler was easier to see. Print needs to be darker or even on top of guide.

I really like the grids/rulers that are on it also as it makes it super easy to make precision cuts, even on angles. The blades are super sharp and accurately cut/trim. It's perfect for any office or even for hobby projects and I'd recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a handy-sized cutter that is useful for trimming photos, etc. Of course it won't replace the giant wood-base ones you see at office supply stores and art classrooms, but they take up MUCH more room and are not really portable like this one. This little thing is worth a place on your desk, or in a drawer nearby, if you need to make straight cuts (it also has marked angles as well) I did test it up to 12 sheets of stacked paper and it cut with no difficulties. The only down-side (for old eyes anyway) is that the scale is a bit hard to read through the blue-colored plastic.
