I had another brand, 9*, that worked well for a while, and this one came to replace it. Very good and sturdy, with a metal trash basket inside the stainless steel shell. The mechanism seems reliable, and the lid seals well to prevent unpleasant odors from the trash.

This is such a nice automatic opening trash bin. It's very quiet and has a soft closing lid. The lid opens quickly, which was important to me. We have had a full set of this company's stainless steel cookware for many, many and it's very quality made and still works and looks great. Hopefully this trash bin will live up to the same standards. Oh, it's very pretty too.

Awesome no touch trash can

This trash can was great while it worked. We've had it less than 1 year (appx 7 months) and it's already not working. The lights still turn on, we've replaced the batteries and everything. But it just blinks red. Incredibly disappointed.

I bought this trash can a year ago last month. Normal household use with 2 adults, no constant open and closing, but it quits working about almost 11 months in. I've changed the batteries, reset to off for a week, nothing works, just aggravations. Not worth it, I'll get the Kohler next, at least it comes with warranty.

I got in September but it only works 9 months it stays open don't close probably.
