Like others mention, this item arrived completely covered in damages! Where is the quality control?!?! Who in their warehouse would have the audacity to package a product completely destroyed and ship it out to a paying customer?! I’m totally disgusted. Returning!

I love my bookcase (using it as a china cabinet), came mostly assembled in a big box. You just need to install the legs and the handles. It's very heavy so you need at least 3 people to lift if and to stand it upright. Highly recommend, specially for the price.

I saw this item broken in my Sam's Club. I still ordered because it fit perfectly in my dining room. The piece is beautiful but poor quality. Arrived with piece chipped off, crack in upper door, and arch not securely attached to base (you could see the chipboard and pegs to attach it). I didn't even attempt attaching legs or handles. I had it shipped directly to my house by their shipper. It is a pain to repackage securely to send back. My advice would be to have it shipped to your local Sam's Club and let them unpack and access the damage. Also, if you order, demand the shipper send 2 people to move and have shipper honor scheduled delivery time.

I’m so disappointed because I was so excited to find a cabinet similar to the look I want but less than $3000. Well, lesson learned you get what you pay for. When I got home and opened the box it was broken. Went back to Sam’s club in port Charlotte and there was only 1 left in stock and that one was broken too. Traveled an hour to fort Myers because there were “4 in stock” according to the website. There was actually only 3 in stock, 2 in a box and 1 floor model. We thought we’d have better luck but NOPE, all broken as well. Complete waste of time, money, and gas to try to get this cabinet. It’s a nice cabinet but very poorly made for all these cabinets to have the same issues. The packaging seemed secure so they clearly don’t handle fragile packages well either.

LOVE this cabinet. Comes already put together besides the feet which just screw on. Very sturdy and stylish. 5/5 stars definitely recommend! I actually ordered this for shipping and since it was in stock at a store in a neighboring city it came the same day. Packaged REALLY well.

Bought two of these..one was perfect and the other completely damaged in 5 different areas. Called the Whalen manufacturer…IT SAID THEY ANSWERED 24/7….not true. Left my number…said they would call me back…they did not. I emailed them. In the 5 days it took them to get back to me, took 5 days for them to respond and they refused to do ANYTHING! Sam’s club did what they could on their end and got nowhere with Whalen as well. Sam’s gave me a partial credit which I was at least thankful for bc at that point there were none in stock around us and to get one shipped would have cost more and no guarantee it wouldn’t get damaged (as the company denied it was their fault even though nails were shot up in part of the damage!) So in summary only buy if in stock with multiples at your store bc Whalen doesn’t stand behind their products. If I were Sam’s club I wouldn’t do business with them. Thank you Sam’s for your help though! I felt like they actually cared unlike the manufacturer

I love this Enzo cabinet. It is very heavy though and getting it upstairs was a challenge. We had to remove a door to carry it upstairs (to have a place to grip) and there were a bunch of screws in those hinges! Which is great as it seems very well made. It comes packed very well with a bunch of cardboard and protection in the box. I assembled the legs and handles myself in a jiffy. Very happy with this purchase.

After a delivery problem, the item arrived and when I fully unboxed it, I found a crack through the wood on one door and the rattan doors pushed in so they wouldn’t open. I called about replacement doors and the doors don’t come with glass. (?!) and I can’t take the back off to push the rattan doors open because the back can crack and they “don’t make replacement backs”. I should have listened to the many reviews. Now I have to wait for a freight company to contact me to return it. What a waste of a day and $637 until I get my refund.

Has small part of missing paint on bottom portion. Black paint pen that is included does absolutely nothing. Worst part is the top right door opens the bottom door with it every time due to the bottom door being mounted incorrectly and higher than the left side.

This bookcase matched perfectly with my dining table! Turned it into a bar case!
