We got this about a month ago and it took my husband and I about 14 hours to put it together. The wood was in good shape other than a tiny piece was broken. I felt like the instructions were easy to follow. I would lay out every steps pieces with its hardware, in order, and then hand it to my husband and it seemed to be a good system. It is seriously so cute and our kids have been outside as soon as they wake up, they love it so much!

Came in earlier then expected and shipper scheduled drop off time with me. We paid extra to have it assembled best decision assembly company also contacted me to schedule assembly date and were very accommodating even moved up the date and time for me to fit our schedule. Playground was up a ready in less than 4 hours saved is another of headaches

The Oceanview playset comes with a number of fantastic features that your will kids will thoroughly enjoy! We are very pleased with the Oceanview for our backyard playset. My biggest concerns were: quality and design, variety of features, and safety. The Oceanview meets all of those requirements at an affordable price! We have an 8-year-old boy, 6-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old boy, so I wanted something with variety that all the children could enjoy. My six year old loves the monkey bars and the hammock, and my 2-year-old loves to go down the slide over and over again. I think the stairs contribute to his excitement, as he loves going up the stairs like a big boy. Of course, they all love the swings! Not only does the playset look awesome, but also it is sturdy and durable. I am almost 30 years old and I crawled up there to play in the fort- per the request of my daughter! As a parent, my favorite part was that the playset was delivered and assembled all in same day! My husband and I did not have to stress about finding the time, nor the additional hands to help assemble. I like that the assembly is an additional service you can utilize when purchasing a Backyard Discovery playset. I love that we have the wooden set as opposed to the metal set. The play set has a smoother and more finished appearance. All of the wood is pre-stained so my husband did not have to stain the wood like he initially thought. That saves a lot of time and according to research it is less likely to crack or split. I recommend this product for people with children of all ages looking for affordability, quality, and variety!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I was not looking forward to putting it together, because I knew it was going to be a huge task. So I asked some family members, and 5 of us put it together in a day. It was tough, and we are all pretty tired, but it can be done. It comes in three separate boxes. There are a lot of pieces, so do not mix the contents from each box. When it calls for a part, look in each packing list from each box to narrow down your search. That makes each part easier to find.

Bought this a few weeks ago! it's perfect for my four toddlers

I bought this play set with intentions for a two year old and a ten year old. I am very happy with the quality and it is exactly what I expected. There are a few open places from the “club house” at the top that we nailed some extra boards across to keep our two year old from falling off until she gets bigger. There are a few heads up details I would have liked to know before hand . The playhouse was shipped, I am guessing on the diesel truck because the driver could not make it down my driveway which is a gravel lane with trees overhanging. The driver was able to contact my parents and meet at a gas station to deliver to my dad since I was at work so it worked out. Also my husband and his friend spent 18 hours total putting the playset together. It does say 18 to 24 hours for assembly online for moderately skilled people. I consider my husband and his friends very proficient in assembling things and it took every bit of 18 hours for them. The playhouse came in at three very heavy boxes that were cram packed. It was a lot of tiny boards to start with and one of the boards to make the ladder in the first up was in a separate box so we spent a lot of time looking for that not knowing it would be in a different box. The directions left out some steps along the way and were a little hard To understand the pictures at times. I would still highly recommend this playhouse to anyone and if you have someone that has patients and is good with assembling things you will be fine as long as you have the time. If not , spend the $500 to have someone else do it for you LOL

We love the look of the playset but the wood is very flimsy. My husband broke two boards on accident while building the set because the wood was so weak

We purchased this for our daughters birthday present and she was so excited to play on it. Now I don’t know how safe it is. I paid the additional fee to have it installed and now I’m thinking I should have done it myself or gone with another company. The boards are crooked, the stairs that will be used all of the time are falling through without support underneath them. The wood has already split from where the wood panels were screwed together. And this is only HOURS after being done! How am I supposed to expect this to last for years after having paid so much? I’m really disappointed and regretting having purchased this. Perhaps rainbow or other play set companies would have been better.

The worst experience I've had in a long time! My husband is extremely handy but had so many issues trying to put it together. It came with too many pieces to count. The instructions say it takes 4 men 24 hours to complete. Yikes! Right from the start pieces didn't line up, wood was so thin, and screws were made of the cheapest metal that exists. There was no way this thing would hold up longer than one summer. After 2 days we decided to return it. I had 2 weeks of Sam's club telling me that Backyard Discovery wasn't getting back to them and my customer service rep never in the office before I had to finally get a manager on the line. It was a month overall before I saw my refund.

I bought this swing-set about a year ago and it’s only been assembled for 10 months. It was kept in the boxes until we got it put together. It was a pain to put together for 4 adults. I can get past that part. However, after 10 months, it is coming apart at the roof and some of the wood is becoming very weak. For $1600, this is absurd! My MIL has a swing-set that is 20 years old and it’s still standing. I’m not sure this one will make it 2 years. Don’t waste your money. Buy a more reliable brand.
