The fragrance is overwhelming. If you prefer mild scents or fragrance-free laundry products you should look for the original Oxi-Clean product elsewhere. The "Odor Blaster" feature means covering up any odors with an overwhelming scent that lingers and will contaminate the dryer and infiltrate other clothing.

Left Overwhelming smell on clothes!

Odor of the product is overwhelming, washed several times trying to get the smell out! We miss the old one! Washed clothes with vinegar, vinegar and baking soda, and then washed again with vodka before smell came out! We’ve used Oxi-Clean for years but if we can’t find one without the odor busting we’ll Have to switch brands.

I have used this product for years! I will be returning this box!! The fragrance is so strong it actually made me nauseous. I had to rewash my sheets twice to be able to sleep in them. Why? So awful and unnecessary not to mention toxic!! I wish I could give it a zero star!

This new formula is SCENTED. You can NOT get the fragrance out of you towels. If you are sensetive, you do not want this. There is no mention of scent on the package.

Please bring back original! I loved my oxiclean but when I opened the new one it was highly scented. This odor is way too perfumed!!! The new odor buster packaging didn’t indicate a new smell. This stinks too much and can’t use on my clothes. Can we go back, please!?

Allergic reactions

My family are all Sam’s club shoppers. My brother in Texas and us here in Florida bought the Oxi with the purple for blasters around the same time because the original we normally buy was not in stock. Both households had reactions to it and my parents confirmed they don’t use it because they’ve had reactions to it in the past. Do yourself a favor and buy only the regular oxi clean so you don’t wind up with 10lbs of cleaner you can’t use and an itch in your crawl.

Oxi Clean "Odor Blasters": a perfumed assault

I have purchased Oxi Clean at Sam's for years. I recently bought a new box and, when I opened it, am overwhelmed by PERFUME. My family has allergies, and, even if we didn't, this PERFUMED laundry product is an assault on the senses. I will never buy Oxi Clean at Sam's again, unless you carry the product that is not "Odor Blasters"! I wasn't buying perfume. I was buying laundry detergent. The odor isn't 'blasted'. It is covered up with a ridiculous amount of fragrance! I want my money back!

If it’s scented, say so on the box.

Stinks. You don’t fight odors by introducing other odors. Says nothing on face of box about being scented and in typical Sam’s fashion, they didn’t have the unscented version in club. Washed sheets ONE TIME with this stuff and it’ll take 3 or 4 washes to get the smell out.
