The fragrance is overwhelming. If you prefer mild scents or fragrance-free laundry products you should look for the original Oxi-Clean product elsewhere. The "Odor Blaster" feature means covering up any odors with an overwhelming scent that lingers and will contaminate the dryer and infiltrate other clothing.

Left Overwhelming smell on clothes!

Odor of the product is overwhelming, washed several times trying to get the smell out! We miss the old one! Washed clothes with vinegar, vinegar and baking soda, and then washed again with vodka before smell came out! We’ve used Oxi-Clean for years but if we can’t find one without the odor busting we’ll Have to switch brands.

Avoid this product! Several months ago, I tried OxiClean (non-scented) for the first time, purchased from Sam's Club, and became a fan of the product. Sam's Club replaced the non-scented version with this Odor Blasters version and not noticing, I purchased it - to my demise. The perfume in this product is overwhelming and toxic. My entire family complained (and I only used 1 TBL per load), so now it will be used for outdoor cleaning only. I will purchase OxiClean non-scented at Publix until the Sam's Club buyer notices my review and graces us lowly customers with OxiClean non-scented.

This new formula is SCENTED. You can NOT get the fragrance out of you towels. If you are sensetive, you do not want this. There is no mention of scent on the package.

Oxi Clean "Odor Blasters": a perfumed assault

I have purchased Oxi Clean at Sam's for years. I recently bought a new box and, when I opened it, am overwhelmed by PERFUME. My family has allergies, and, even if we didn't, this PERFUMED laundry product is an assault on the senses. I will never buy Oxi Clean at Sam's again, unless you carry the product that is not "Odor Blasters"! I wasn't buying perfume. I was buying laundry detergent. The odor isn't 'blasted'. It is covered up with a ridiculous amount of fragrance! I want my money back!

Please bring back original! I loved my oxiclean but when I opened the new one it was highly scented. This odor is way too perfumed!!! The new odor buster packaging didn’t indicate a new smell. This stinks too much and can’t use on my clothes. Can we go back, please!?

It's "nose blaster" NOT "odor blaster"

I have purchased OxiClean Stain Remover from Sam's for many years with no issues with the product. Sam's was sold out of the Stain Remover product, so I tried the 11-pound box with "Odor Blasters" which is advertised to REMOVE odors from your laundry. After using the product with this week's laundry, I found that it does NOT remove odors; rather, it covers up odors with an extremely strong fragrance. The smell in the clothes and sheets was so strong that everything had to be rewashed without OxiClean. The Odor Blaster "fragrance" was so strong from the open box that I had to take the box out of the house and into the trash bin. I will never purchase the Odor Blaster version of OxiClean again.
