Very delicious

I purchased 4 bags yesterday, 2/8/2026, I selected the yellow bags. I used some to make Guava Ginger Juice. 20 Guava can make 1 gallon of juice. I have no issues with seeds. Worth the price $4.55. I will be eating them with Honey.

Tangy, creamy fun snack

These are so much fun and such a different experience. This was my introduction to guava and my kids’. The slightly tart, creamy, citrusy fruit is fun to eat and a nice snack. I shared with my coworker, who is not a fan, but thought it would be fun to have our school kids give it a try during our farmer’s market lesson. It’s definitely not for everyone, but those who like it, really like it.

Great snack

These little guys take their time getting ripened. But once they do they’re so good for snacking or side dish or even dessert. After washing, cut off a little of the 2 ends and pop in your mouth or cut in half for smaller bite size pieces.

Guava - My childhood fruit

I love these. Guava's was a fruit that I grew up with and it's hard to find. I sat and ate a full bag.

Guavas

They were not ripe at all when I bought them. Several days later when they started to ripen they all turned brown and soft and never tasted like a guava. I had to throw out all but about three or four of them.

Awful

Never got ripe but developed dark spots, not edible. Not to mention the tons of seeds are like rocks! It seems much of fruit nowadays looks good at store, who knows what’s sprayed on them and develop dark areas that go bad! 🤮. So not buying much fruit from Sam’s anymore and rather buy from our local markets. Of course local farmer’s markets are best!

Skip these! Zero Stars

Skip these! They say they can be eaten whole, seeds and all. And then they have stuff that makes it look fun for kids. The seeds will crack your teeth if you bite into them. It tells you in small print on the back that you must swallow the seeds whole. Yeah no thanks, hardly any actual fruit inside other than seeds and they really don’t taste very good. Zero stars.

Too bitter, not a good experience

I love guavas but these were very bitter. It took a while to get ripe and then they were all ripe at the same time. Even after waiting 6 or 7vdays, they seemed ripe enough to eat but they were still so bitter. Gave them a few more days and they were overripe at this point but now they were kind of chalky in texture but still bitter.

Not sweet. Appears to have been chilled

Went from unripe to rotten. I threw the bag in the trash.
