I used this for years with no issues. This time, after using, when I removed the tape, it took chunks of paint along with it. Now I must do a lot of touch up work.

Taping is time consuming BUT definately worth it. The amount of time prepping for your painting project most definatley out weighs the clean up you would have after the painting is done if not taped.

I've stopped buying 3m painters tape. terrible product. peels paint off after only being up for 2 days. taped the walls so I could paint the ceilings. peeled the paint off after only being up for 2 days. wall paint was clean and up for 2 years.

When I painted my townhome I used ScotchBlue Painter's Tape and it was not only easy to apply, but made crips edges of paint color and was easy to remove.

SCOTCH BLUE PAINTERS TAPE IS WONDERFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANY PAINTER I KNOW. IT MAKES THINGS GO SO MUCH SMOOTHER. I JUST LOVE IT. IT IS SSSSOOOO GREAT. WHAT A GREAT INVENTION. IT IS THE BOMB!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy this tape Its a waste of money, it Is the worst tape I have ever used. The blue tape should be easy to remove but this doesn't hold at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Scotch blue to paint in the kitchen and the tape removed the wood finish off the cabinets. What a mess I have now.
