[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teacher. I used ScotchBlue Painter's Tape on my dry erase board last school year. I created a couple of charts which had columns and rows. We used this for daily activities and to list assignments and information needed by the students. The tape stayed up all year...not a single piece needed to be replaced. On the last day of school when I tore it down, there was no residue left behind and it came down very quickly. I recommend ScotchBlue Painter's tape for teachers for use in the classroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used this tape was 20 years ago. Since then I have never found any tape that can work as good for a clean lines or edge block. This tape is the only one I would trust to leave on over 24 hrs or on delicate surfaces.

This tape i will always suggest especially if your painting your own house/room. it wont mess up the paint when you take off the tape and it will stay nor the ends will flap back. I have even noticed that professial painters use this tape when they worked in the office building i work.

I purchased this tape and it not pull clean like they advertised! it ruined some spots on my doors and now I have to repaint! I worked so hard taping up the areas of the door I wanted to paint in different colors. I worked very hard for this and it was ruined!

I painted my walls 1 week ago. Today I applied scotch blue painter's tape for multi-surfaces around the trim so as not to get the trim color on the walls. When I removed the painter's tape, specks of the wall paint came off also. Now I'm going to have to touch up the walls.

Makes me wonder about their legitimacy...used this tape to guard wall along a chair rail and it bled through in numerous spots and looks just plain awful. Now I have hours of touch-up work ahead of me. I will never use this 3M painters tape again.

I am so glad I didn't have to be so careful about not getting paint on other attached surfaces, because I just used the tape to protect it! So easy! Worked like a charm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to polyurethane the wood under the front door before winter set in. The inside floor is wood. Taped off the entranceway, used the blue to cover the front door with plastic as it had to be wide open. The tape did not take any finish off the front, left the tape on the wood floor for a week before the 2nd coat and it came off without a problem except where a little polyurethane had dribbled. That took a little work, but it was on me, not the tape.

However, with having Blue Tape around the house, I have come to use it almost daily for another use: labeling food containers for the fridge and freezer. It applies in any size, is easy to write on, peels off easily afterwards, plus doesn't come off in the dishwasher if you forget about it! LOVE IT for this use and have recommended it to friends! This tape makes easy work of any painting project. It will come off the roll as easy as it comes off of any surface. It also will give a clean line weather you are taping of f for different colr schemes or just taping off moldings or cabinets. It also works great for holding plastic in place anywhere. Just a great painters tape in general.
