If you not have a screen already this IS the one! You have to support the top a little more than with just velcro & a thumb tac. But once you do amazing! We had to put ours outside of the door way of our apartment. Our dog just loves it, as we do. We no longer have to shut the door because of bugs. Worth EVERY PENNY. Thank you:)

When installing this product, you have to make sure the screens are not too taunt. You basically have to play with and get perfect the alignment and tauntness of the two halves. Once you do that, the concept works perfectly, even with a breeze. I would definitely recommend.

We purchased two of these for our back door and garage side door. I figured it would hold up for about a year but was dry rotted by the sun by the end of summer. (About 6 months) Tore into a shredded magnetic mess. The magnets are cheap and lasted about a month before separating and flying off in the wind. It keeps bugs out for the most part unless they managed to slip their way between it and your door! Then they have no choice but to come inside when you open it. Is it worth the price? No. Especially not for how long it holds up. If there was a study and better made option, I may consider buying another but this year, we will just deal with the bugs instead of throwing 30 bucks away.

This is our second one ! I love the cross ventilation throughout my garage. It keeps the bugs out too! Can’t use if it is too windy, but love it otherwise! Easy to install and good price! We have it on 2 doors in our grange. One on the side wall and one on the house entry door. The large garage door doesn’t have to be open!

I have had this mesh screen in the past and have dealt with the magnets falling off, but at least it lasted half the Summer before I had to buy a new one. This one, "New and Improved version" didn't even last a week. I took the advice of a friend, who said to glue the plastic boxes that hold the magnets together and still they broke and fell off. The screen is flimsy and tears easily. Terribly made product and will not purchase again.

Super great for the price. Magnets are strong. I had ordered two other ones from a diff brand on amazon and had to return both because the magnets wouldnt even clasp closed. This one worked good. I have had it for a month or so now and the material is stringy on the out side but it still works fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Bichon Frise that likes to run in and out of the house yet it often takes a beating on my screen doors. I used to have a “doggie door” except pets other than mine ended up in my house. The alternative was to work with a screen door that my pet can maneuver in and out. Since my pet is less than 14 pounds, I tried the Magic Mesh Screen Door to facilitate his needs to go outside. The Magic Mesh was very easy to assemble and mount with the provided double tape/velcro pads. The screen held up OK except it had to be remounted when it came loose from the double tape. I had to re-tape and reinstall which was an inconvenience. Once remounted, it held up for a lengthy period of time with no further issues. During the day it’s great having the option to allow outside air to cross through my living room. It also does a great job of keeping flying insects from penetrating the screen. The only challenge is it takes some effort to split the screen to allow for egress. Other than that, it reattaches itself very quickly when passing through. I give the Magic Mesh Screen Door a 4-STAR Rating.

We now can have the door open without worrying that bugs/insects will fly in and intrude our living space. Another plus is this mesh screen allows for our cat to walk in and out to the patio without having to keep opening the door for her, she’s become independent because she can easily walk through the screen as the magnets pull apart and come back together once she has passes. This is the second screen we’ve bought and will continue to purchase them.

i bought my first one that lasted 4 years till a crazy squirrel got attached to it. i loved it. unfortunately my second one the magnets weren't working well with gaps due to misplaced magnets and screen was torn by someone going through it after being up a short time. maybe they have cheapened it??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We leave the door open a lot so the kids can play outside and I can still hear them while inside. The flies that were coming in were beyond annoying and I didn't want to spend money on a screen/storm door because we rent our house. This Magic Mesh hands free screen was a great solution to allow us to keep the door open and prevent all the flies from coming in! It's also easier to walk in and out than a framed screen/storm door because it's hands free. Which is a huge plus for my two young kids, the youngest which is still getting the hang of opening doors. Also, it allows our dogs to go in and out as well. The dogs learned pretty quickly they could just walk through. The strong magnets close behind you when you walk in and out. Our door is a metal door so occasionally the magnets stick to the door if it's only cracked and walking in towards the door, but the majority of the time this doesn't happen and I've trained the kids to manually close it when it does. One of my dogs is a bad dog and door scratches to try and come inside so to keep him from tearing up this screen when the door is closed and we're not home, I pull the screen door open and away from his scratching spot.
