I put this over my sliding screen door that my dog got the best of the screen and didnt feel getting it replaced cause he would just go thrue it again. so this was perfect, the dogs go thru it yet it keeps the bugs from coming in. easy set up love it!

I love how well the magnets work, but it is way too wide for your average door. I found some video online showing how to fold and staple it on the sides so it would be less wide. I reinforced with duct tape. Also the tacks are quite necessary for the top. I didn't add them all and now I don't know where the rest are, and so I added more duct tape. But either way, it works great compared to the thing I had when such a screen door first ever existed. WAY better magnets situation, but not so pretty with modifications I had to make. There should be different sizes for different doors. Maybe there is and I didn't realize... It looks like some suggest cutting it. I don't think that would work right. Maybe if you added a bunch more duct tape?

This item works for the most part. It's a little bit of an awkward fit on smaller width doors and most of the time needs some assistance to close properly. Snapping 2 of the magnets together usually causes the others to snap closed as well. It does involve attaching velcro with an adhesive strip to your door casing.

I wanted something that could go on our back door to help keep the bugs out since we have dogs that are constantly wanting in and out. With 4 dogs, they don't always want to go out at the same time. I thought of a doggie door, but our dogs are so varied in size that I wasn't sure the little 7 pound dog would be able to push open the door for the 180 pound dog (St Bernard) so thought I'd give it a try. I really thought they would either not use it or tear it up, but they all walked through it the first day (except the little dog, she's still a bit leery of it) and it has held up great. I also thought it would be ugly, but it's not! Installation was easy (we did use the enclosed tacks for extra security holding it on) and the magnets line up and close as you walk through. It does a great job keeping the bugs out, specially at night when they want to swarm the light inside. We're very pleased and the price was very resonable.

The quality is different than one I previously purchased had to do repairs before it would fasten, the glue strips would not hold and had to improvise them also. But We do like having this type of screen so our pooch can go in and out easily. Still would purchase again.

Make sure you read all directions and place the mesh close together in the middle. Ours works fine but it doesn't always close back as we enter or exit the door frame. We have to do that manually. And we have had this for about two weeks and it is slightly ripping on the top :/. Nevertheless, it still does its job and blocks flies from immediately entering our home. I hope this helps future buyers. I still intend on buying another one for our back door. Its a double door.

Very poor quality. Will burst through very easily especially if it’s at a high traffic door. I have bought a mesh previously. I can’t remember which one which is why I bought this one thinking it was the same. This one only has a few pieces of tape to stick the sides to the door frame. So there will be gaps and they do unstick easily. Would definitely have to buy more tape and use that. Plus the middle where you walk through only has a few magnets that keeps it together. The one I bought previously was a continuous magnet strip that holds at every point. So this one there are gaps and bugs can get through. I would not recommend this particular mesh. Not good quality at all

This is really great to keep our door open and not let bugs in. My dog likes the freedom of going in and out. Our cat watched us and learned how to get out. That's the only problem since he is not an outside cat. We put up a baby gate to keep the cat in.

Not only is this a lot more cost efficient than a regular sliding screen door, unlike regular screen doors, this one allows you and/or your pet to glide in or out without using your hands/paws, which is real convenient when you have your hands/paws full.

We have a cabin that we rent out and we go thru many patio screen doors. For the price you cannot beat it. Works great and even if it only lasts one summer who cares for $15. Especially when we normally go thru one screen door per summer which is much more costly.
