I am glad I got this screen door cover. It’s kept the bugs mostly out. We’d had a big problem with biting flies earlier in the summer and this helped a lot. I wouldn’t get this one for a high traffic area (with a metal door) as we have it or I would maybe treat the center pieces in some way to keep them from shredding as they have over the last several months. The sticky back hook and loop fasteners are strong enough, but not good in the southern humidity. I ended up stapling them all up.

I have a Golden Retriever as a guide dog and a Chihuahua as a companion dog for my autistic grandson who lives with me. I have a fairly small yard at the back of my apartment and this screen allows them to come and go when they want to go out. I love this. Thank you.

Not recommended for homes with pets, children, teenagers or adults - it would be fine for an evening if you stopped and showed everyone how to properly pass through it and you boarded your pets elsewhere - it's a great idea that can't overcome the extremely poor materials and workmanship - a child can literally tear a hole in the mesh with their tiny little finger without any effort and you dog will tear it out just trying to follow you. }

………..with modifications. Magic Mesh was too wide for my patio doors and I had to create side hems as well as a bottom hem which I weighted with stones to help it close more easily. Had to use tacks to hold the velcro tape in place - my own tacks. The tacks sent with the Magic Mesh were absurd plastic topped affairs which fell apart upon use. The Magic Mesh has been up two days now - ask again in a month for more insight.

tried to put it up for the party next day. The velcro on top gave up in few hours. It would have been perfect if it stayed. I love the way it looked but materials were cheap if you're gonna take a closer look. Can't complain for the price, though. Wasn't able to use it for the party. Waste of money.

I bought this to replace a cheaper version; I love how sturdy the mesh is and how many tacks (black) come with it to secure it to the door frame; My dogs enjoy being able to go in and out on the back porch without having to wait for the door to be opened; I like that it is strong enough to stay in place when it's windy outside and how it keeps flies/bugs from entering

I have used mesh screen gizmos for as long as I have had dogs because I would much rather have them "free run", instead of being a slave to the door. First of all, to save yourself many headaches with the velcro strips that come unglued, pull away from the mesh, etc...Just haul out your fancy staple gun and staple the screen up. It takes no more than five minutes and you can shorten the length as much as you need to, and taken in the width by rolling the mesh and then stapling it to the exterior door frame. Love it, and yes the magnets are strong and you hear "click, click, click, click" each and every time you enter or exit the screen.

We just got this installed today. So far so good with kids and dogs going in and out. Few tips! Follow instructions to the tee except for the tacks. Let screen "settle" for a bit. Not all doors are square! Expect changes! Velcro may need adjustments to get just right. Once it is closing right, then add tacks. We found if first upper magnets work, the rest of the magnets will follow as designed.

Product came in 5days BUT IT IS NOT MAGIC MESH DELUXE! It is in plastic bag. No brand, called INSTANT MESH GUARD. I used Magic Mesh sliding door in the past %26 its great. This cost more than Magic Mesh. Definitely not worth it. I will just go buy a Magic Mesh %26 donate this to thrift store. **One of the online products you cannot trust since seller posts picture of Magic Mesh box!!

and a plastic magnet casing breaking and falling away. I live in a fairly mild climate and bought this item so I could leave my door open for my 3 dogs while keeping bugs out. It was up and installed for less than a day before tearing from use or the wind. Also, one of the plastic casings that houses the magnets keeping the 2 screen "curtain" pieces together broke apart. A good concept, but not a good product for a household with 3 lively dogs.
