We've had a few storms since installing the outdoor lighting. It has not effected it at all. It's the perfect angle, for porch entertaining,to provide maximum lighting. So far it has held up very well outside and had no issues with the bad weather we had lately. The bulb provided gives a warm yellow light that is fairly bright. If you prefer a brighter bulb or cooler tone a new install would be very easy.

It comes with all of the brackets and electrical connectors necessary to add/replace an outdoor light. I really like the matte black contrasted with the bronze “interior”. Great that it has an IP rating for outdoor use. Happy that I swapped out an older model.

Added a very nice modern look to our side door, it's covered so we can't attest to how it holds up with rust or to rain. It has a decent brightness. Overall, very modern look and it seems to be good durable quality.
