Just got it yesterday but taking it back . The vacuum picks up great when not getting stuck in the fringe of my rugs. I don't put the side brushes on to prevent that from happening but bobsweep wants to get stuck.

I did not realize that I was one of the first to try bObsweep because I read the reviews about Bob (I call him Bob for short) before I bought him and they were great. I use Bob every few days. I have 2400 square feet to be cleaned and he can clean that area on one charge. He is very good at picking up everything including pebbles so I was very happy about that (I had bought a Shark robot before and it could not pick up pebbles so I returned it). Bob was easy to set up and he is easy to empty and clean. I love that he has a quick clean mode so that I can have him just run through the family room quickly so it is clean when company arrives. Bob does a good job of mopping as well although he can't mop up things stuck hard to the floor like dried chocolate for example. I had to contact bObsweep support because I wanted to set up some "no mop zones" but was advised that such a feature is not available for Bob so I suggested to them that they upgrade the program to include such a feature since Bob's programming does include the ability to create "no sweep zones" to keep Bob from getting stuck under furniture or tangled in cords. bObsweep support was very nice and responsive and said they would consider my suggestion. So when mopping, I set up Bob's mopping area by room and just remove the rugs in that room and that works just fine. The only problem I have with Bob is that we have several area rugs with long fringe and Bob gets tangled up in the fringe which bObsweep instructions does warn about. I tried taking up the carpets when sweeping but I really wanted the carpets to be cleaned as well so then I decided to just masking tape the fringe under the rugs and that is working just fine. BOTTOM LINE: I love Bob and highly recommend him! Now if I could just train him to dust the furniture.....(Ha-ha) Thank you for saving me time Bob! Best regards, Rita

bOb is doing great, vacuuming and mopping. I was a little disappointed in my first one having several issues. I reached out to bObsweep customer service team who helped me return and exchange for a brand new one. I have no complaints and love the bobsweep

Amazing experience. I originally bought a cheaper model and had various issues with the cheaper one. This one, PetHair SLAM, has been absolutely perfect. Mapping is perfect, ability to put up invisible walls to keep it out of rooms, draw a no go zone around my dogs food and water bowl. Lidar systems are obviously superior to camera systems. It never gets stuck on anything. It can go straight through the chair legs under the table instead of bouncing around over and over trying to get out. Will sweep around my dog's favorite toy instead of pushing it around. It always goes back to the docking station on its own. It cleans everything very efficiently, gets everything, and doesn't go over spots twice. I was so impressed, I bought a second unit after the first. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. Bobsweep units have bigger dust bins than most companies, so they require less emptying. I originally thought not having the auto-empty was going to be a problem. The first few days the bin was completely full each day and I would have to empty it every day. But now that the house is cleaner I don't need to empty as frequently at all, once a week seems like enough, so I don't care about auto-empty any more. Super happy with the PetHair SLAM and super happy with Sam's Club pricing on it.

We had a robotic vacuum cleaner for about 5 years. But, like me, it was starting to show its age. When you take into account it had no mapping, no app, no mopping ability, plus it was falling apart so it's time to buy a new one. I went to Sam's club.com and after doing a bunch of research I found this Bob pets hair robotic cleaner. It add navigation an app it mapped you could program it and you can mop with it. I ordered it through Sam's Club, and got it in a few days. I plugged it in no lights came on but I just assumed it need to be charged. So the next morning when it was still dead I rode into customer service. Very quickly I heard from Ruby she suggested that I try a few things reconnecting the battery and ask me for some model information. I sent her the information took the battery out reconnected it and sure enough everything lit up. I let it charge for a few hours did the app and started mapping it. We were all amazed at watching the app and watching it map everything out. I'm sorry but we get easily amused. LOL I heard back from Ruby as I didn't send her all the information she needed so I told her that I got it running and thanked her. The next day I got another check in from Ruby just to make sure everything was running okay I was blown away by the customer service. It's only been a few days but I can tell you it sure is a big Improvement over previous vacuum that was 5 years old. I highly recommend the bobsweep because I'm not only the product but customer service that I got from Ruby!

 Kristie Ristow Nov 10, 2023, 3:29 AM PST I have him scheduled to run in the middle of the night so when I get up, I enjoy checking to see how much cat fur he has picked up. I also like using the app to send Bob to any areas specifically that I want cleaned. For example, when using the mop attachment, I send him to clean only the kitchen and bathroom. You can also mark areas on the map using the app so he doesn't go to any areas where he repeatedly gets stuck. Using Bob is a great way to keep the house clean if you have pets. 

I was super excited to get a good deal on this vacuum and loved the green color, but everything about the vacuum was a disappointment. We have a golden retriever and her hair gets caught in every part of the brush and front wheel. It always gets stuck on the fringes of our rug and dies because it's not smart enough to back up or otherwise get unstuck and go back to charge, but it doesn't have a problem doing that if I manually tell it to charge via the app (and it somehow magically frees itself). The map function is awful and the no-go zones are practically useless because you have to draw a huge box that covers far more area than you want to block off. Returning and getting another Shark like my self-emptying upstairs robot vacuum for the carpeted areas.

I glad that I brought this, it does amazing jobs then I ever expected. It can reach wherever I can not access to. My house tremendously clean, because it does all the vacuum for me, and way more quiet than the regular vacuum. So every night it do all the cleaning for me quietly without waking up my husband. The price is worth every penny.

I received and upgrade for free on this product that is self emptying. It was packaged well and arrived in a timely manner. It came with a quick set up guide and was easy to set up and get started. The app was easy to download and is easy to use. The vacuum mapped the house and was very accurate. It maneuvered easily through obstacles and did a great job of moving in straight lines so as not to miss anything. I have a short hair dog that sheds and this does a good job of picking up the hair on our dark hard wood floors. I have only had a week but am very pleased with the purchase.
