We decided to try this Optimum Nutrition AMIN.O. Energy + Electrolytes and we were both really surprised at the boost it gives you. You can take this at any point during the day but we have been taking it 30 minutes before our workouts. I really felt more adrenaline and I even improved on my pull up numbers. It gives you more energy and the electrolytes are great for hydration so I’m happy to take them in anywhere I can. The drink itself has 100mg of caffeine, from natural sources. It also has 5 grams of amino acids which is great for repairing after a workout, especially weight training. This one was watermelon flavored and it honestly tasted like watermelon candy; A bit to sweet for my taste.

The flavor was good and not overly artificially sweet and didn't leave a bad aftertaste like some powders do. It blended up nicely with a shaker bottle without any surprise chunks flying into my mouth.

First, I have to say it the case is absolutely scrumptious and very refreshing.
