[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a pretty basic security system, and this has been serving my needs well so far. Setting up the cameras is simple, although it's can get tricky if you decide to mount it on brick, I had to make a special trip to the hardware store to get the right type of Mount. But once they're up, they are easy to set up wirelessly. Didn't take me to no longer than about 5 minutes. The app itself is pretty good without too much bloat, and as promised it gives you a clear picture whenever you want it. With the right angling, I could definitely get a good view on a large part of my yard and the front and back porch. You can't move the camera around, but it still gives me a nice and wide view depending on where you put it. The camera quality especially shines at night, it actually has a clear in-color picture without any fuzz or distortion (and at the moment my yard has minimal lighting, but it's a nice addition that these cameras also have a bright light that you can turn on). Although with night vision, I did get a much better picture when I switched to Black and white. These can surprisingly hold a charge, I can charge them to completion for an hour and they're good to go for literally 2 to 3 days at my home. These have more than met my expectations, their functionality is very useful and haven't failed me.

We even used them to monitor what was eating our vegetables garden and were able to identify the culprit(s). Highly recommend purchasing these high quality cameras!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd have to admit i was a little intimidated seeing the cameras, hub, cords and mounting hardware upon opening the box. I thought to myself that its going to be hard for me to get this system operating, but i was wrong... So wrong. Once you get on the app they go over every step and walk you through the process. It was actually quicker than i had imagined and relatively easy to do by myself. One of the mounts is hung using only one screw and the camera sits in it by magnetic force it was so simple to install! It's really quite strong and makes it very easy to change camera position or remove for charging. I'm really quite fond of the magnetic mount. The image quality is pretty good as well and i like that i have control over the different type of options. For instance I can choose if I want the spot light to operate or not. If i choose to have the spotlight operational I can also choose the intensity of the light from 1 - 100%. I have the ability to talk through these cameras, I can set activity zones and so much more. Each camera gives a very wide viewing angle for being such small cameras which means you wont need a huge system to cover the exterior of your property. I love the piece of mind this system gives my family and i love the ease of use. I'm very happy with the Arlo Ultra 2 system.

From the app features and options, the the quality of the cameras- the system is easy to install and operate (even for the tech unsavvy). The cameras are easy to program for the sensitivity that you need- our front yard is set not to capture traffic, but our backyard is set to capture even a stray cat. We couldn’t be happier with this system!

I love the extra protection of being able to watch my home from anywhere. It also helps me monitor my teens’ coming and goings! Couldn’t be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Ultra 2 Camera system. This system is beyond its years. It is sleek, easy to install and has amazing capabilities. I really like the fact that they are wireless, and you only have to charge them every six months. The 4K picture quality is out of this world. It also has a very wide lens, meaning 1 camera can pretty capture the same amount of area as 2 cameras would. I really like the spotlight capability if you happen to see a intruder in the area and the ability to set off a siren to scare the intruder away. It is super easy to setup and connect to Wifi. I have been getting great signal since i have started using the cameras. I would definitely recommend investing in this product to help protect your home.

It came well packaged and easy set up if you download the app. The app is easy to navigate, includes simple directions, and troubleshooting videos and support. I initially struggled a little connecting our Wi-Fi to the base. We live in a rural area and I think it was our router. Overall, it was easy to setup. I love the 180-degree view, day/night vision, and motion detection. We have not used the cloud storage option, but I like that we can consider it in the future. The 4K with HDR provides a clear picture. I really like the ease of the magnetic holder. It is strong, sturdy, easy to remove. I recommend the Arlo Ultra 2 for added indoor/outdoor security on your property.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these hoping to get great outdoor coverage. Not super easy to set up, but it wasn't super hard either. Disappointed in picture quality. But it will work for what we got them for. Just hope I don't need to identify a burglar from this.

Went to cancel, got prompted to renew at 50% off annual plan. With credit for remainder of annual plan, it showed I should've been charged around $30. Got charged $145. Spent an hour with support for no resolution and they lied and said that applies to next years renewal. Next years renewal shows full cost currently. I just bought about $600 in new Arlo equipment too; returned right after that experience. Been a customer since the original line with 7 days lifetime cloud (which they also reneged on).
