There was nothing confusing or complicated about it. I used it first thing in the morning, followed the steps, and the result popped up clearly in the window. You can tell when the test is finished because there is a red color that comes over top of the screen and once it goes away, you know it’s done. The instructions were easy to follow, and the test was easy to interpret.
