When I do, I tend to be lazy and do it after a shower without using any shaving cream or gel. That's not great for your skin. I gave this new razor from Gillette a try and I have to admit, it was fantastic. Cut great with little to no pulling, and left my face feeling smooth without any irration. The flexiable rotating head and moisturizing bar really work! My only complaint would be the handle. It was a little slippery in my hands and a little lightweight. I have been using one from an online subscription service and love the weight and rubber grip it offers. I wish this had both of those features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this razor for a few weeks and so far I am enjoying it. The metal handle has a high quality look and feel, and the dual motion of the flexing head/pivoting neck gives me a nice, close shave. The blade still feels as sharp as it was when new, and the exfoliating pad has held up and is not slimy or cracking. Admittedly, I have a beard and only shave my neck and clean up my cheeks, but the disposable blade has held up great thus far. I personally think the heavy magnetic stand it comes with is kind of ridiculous, but maybe that's because prefer to keep my razor in the drawer with the rest of my bathroom stuff and not standing up on the counter. I can definitely see my younger self finding this to be cool though, so I guess there's value there? Overall, this is a great razor. Depending on the blade replacement costs, I can see myself purchasing more in the future.

I've used many different types/brands of razors, and I believe I have found the perfect one for me. No matter what razor I tend to use, I end up with nicks and razor burn. My skin is extremely sensitive and it's hard to find a razor that doesn't irritate or cause me facial woes. Having used this particular razor for quite some time I have found a couple things of interest. First, the blades are wonderful. They cut right through facial hair without the usual "pulling" feeling. They last even longer than my usual brand as well. The exfoliating works wonders leaving my face soft, smooth and burn free. Secondly, the handle is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It has heft to it and feels solid so it can withstand a few drops by an "oopsie." The movable head works well and holds the angle needed perfectly. I love the design and color. Very modern and simple. Lastly, there's an included stand. I don't really need this (maybe you will), but it's a nice addition and actually holds the razor upright and ready to use. It could've used a spot for extra blades as well, but it's not a huge miss on their end. All in all, this is a solid razor with blades that cut great and left me feeling smooth and irritation free. It is a good razor and the blades are sharp and excellent for shaving and have another blades! I did not like the holder the razor was not attached to it easily and also handle came dirty! Quality and value is good not bad.

Like the metal stand great place to put the razor in a safe area in the bathroom. The disc on the razor make a easy glide on skin which I like very much.
