These razors have like a soap around the blade and keeps it soapy while I shave my face. It also makes it feel better than just using water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette US - GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor (1 Handle + 2 Cartridges) has become my favorite razor to use for a close shave. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft without any razor bumps or irritation. I love that it has such a sleek design! It has a handle and a razor stand which adds convenience to the shaving experience. The case is perfect to travel with. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had great expectations for this razor. The razor ultimately did not live up to expectations for me. It is a fine razor, but I have a Fusion that works just as well. It does work much better with shaving cream and hot water, but still nothing special or worth trading a decent razor for in my opinion. The stand that came with the razor works, but it leans forward and doesn’t seem very stable. Overall a fine razor, just not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Gillette razors. I have no issue with the quality of this product or of the shave it provides. I do however, believe the exfoliating bar is nothing but a marketing ploy. I really struggle to find value in or believe that an 1/8" strip of something after the blades on the razor is going to really provide any true exfoliation. Love the brand, don't love the added feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette labs with exfoliating bar is a shave as quick and easy as washing your face, 5 blades, metal handle, magnetic stand removes dirt and debris before the blades. For a quick and easy shave every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor offers a nice and smooth shave, and it helps clean up my skin. However what I really miss is the power option from other razor blade handles. I find those type make the shave not hurt so much, but my skin is sensitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette makes great razors and this one is another awesome one in their lineup of products. Provides a great smooth shave in addition to smoothing the skin as it does it. Guys never exfoliate, but this does it while we shave which is great.
