I use a Gillette razor every day and have done so for over a decade, as I started shaving my head daily in 2009. I love their products but this is just too much. The exfoliating bar pushes the blades too close together and they clog easier than the standard 5-blade cartridge. I only used this on my face and neck, which I shave less often, but I'm not sure I've noticed any benefit to the exfoliation. The tilting head seems like a cool concept, but I didn't like it in practice. Made it more difficult to maneuver around my jaw. I also disliked the cartridge-specific handle. I love being able to mix and match heads. The base for the handle also seemed cool in principle, but the magnet is so weak it's useless. Don't bother with any of it.

I have this razor and try and was pleasantly surprised at the results. First, it’s smooth and precise in its cut. The head rotates as to contour well around facial features without cutting your skin. Secondly, it cleans off well in water without cut hairs sticking to it. Lastly the stand is amazing. It keeps the razor upright so the blades are sure to be clean. I haven’t had any issues with my skin when or after using the past three weeks I’ve been using it.

He likes the magnetic stand specially and the fact that the handle is made out of metal is a plus. The razor moves smoothly through his skin and only needs one pass for a smooth feeling skin.

They're are so many that are similar but just a little different it was really hard to decide which was best. I decided to give this one a try and I'm really glad I did. The exfoliating bar feels really good and it's hard for me to find something that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. There are many immitators out there but don't let them fool you. Get the real deal.

Cartridge provided a great shave as well; although I'm not sure I noticed any tangible effect from the exfoliating bar. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the solid weight and feel of the handle itself. Not heavy, but a good solid weight and balance. Really like the magnetic base, although you do have to get it set in right. Stays clean and ready to use. I typically use the Mach 5 blades. This one felt a little rough to start with the exfoliating bar, but I’m used to all blade. So I’ve come to like the exfoliating bar, seems to keep the blade grounded and engaged for a clean pass. I’d buy again.
