The handle is very substantial and weighted so it doesn’t feel like a cheap razor and feels more the like the straightedge type. The shape of the head is also really nice as it seems to cause less irritation

She's always complaining that she gets razor burn or cuts herself shaving she comes out of the bathroom with band-aids up and down her legs. This razor was a savor to her legs! It's so smart to have your razor vertical, so it dries quickly and the exfoliation bar isn't making contact with anything. It's sturdy yet not overly heavy. Really great quality. My face is a big fan of the exfoliating bar too. So easy to use. Highly recommend!

I can't be sure the bar creates a better experience, but its design does create a better connection between the cartridge and handle. I don't think the cartridge will ever inadvertently pop off like some have done in the past. The weighted handle and stand really make this razor feel premium and the shave is excellent too.

Wish I had these a few years ago when I was made to shave my face everyday. If you have to shave I would recommend this razor and set up.
