[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! This razor is quick and easy, leaving a smooth shave with fewer passes. The pivoting Flexdisc head helps to reach all of the corners and hard-to-reach areas. The five blades make it so I have to shave less. The metal handle and medic stand are very high quality.

Its doesn't pull or tug at my hairs and I like that beings most of the time razors iritate my skin and leave it all red and bumpy . I didnt have any of them issues with this razor. It worked perfect on my face and the wife really enjoys using it to shave her legs . Having the stand come with it was a nice feature .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Gillette Proglide Razor for years, but the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor almost necessitates a switch! No more cut hairs clogging up the sides of the Proglide, this GilletteLabs Razor worked better than any razor I've owned. While I was initially skeptical of the exfoliating bar, I have found that I have far less irritation than previous blues (not sure how Gillette did it). 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I liked the colors it looked it cool and guess what I swear to you it shaved the hair off I was vaguely surprised by this but at the same time I knew it would it doesn't really give me razor burn either which is pretty nice but still the biggest upside is it looks cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this about a month ago, and was a little disappointed. At first by the packaging, it's bulky and excessive. Second is the stand they provide for the razor, it barely secured the razor in place. And lastly, I am reviewing the blades, not the over engineered handle. It shaves well and contours to my face, I have a thick beard so it was nice, but all I need is a handle to secure the blade to, not this futuristic looking thing that adds zero to the shaving experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the solid weight and feel of the handle itself. Not heavy, but a good solid weight and balance. Really like the magnetic base, although you do have to get it set in right. Stays clean and ready to use. I typically use the Mach 5 blades. This one felt a little rough to start with the exfoliating bar, but I’m used to all blade. So I’ve come to like the exfoliating bar, seems to keep the blade grounded and engaged for a clean pass. I’d buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor has left my legs and armpit feeling extremely smooth, usually i only get this smooth finish if i first exfoliate and use loads of shaving cream and re exfoliate again , this time around i used the exfoliating bar razor for men skipped my whole process just body soap to shower quick shave and honestly am impressed what this razor can do leaving my legs and armpit feeling like i did my usual routine this time around thou no cuts just feeling extremely smooth Im a women who prefers men razors and this has one my attention and as well how i could just have it on the magnetic holding in my bathroom perfect

My son bought a Gillette razor with battery power in the handle. He bought it back in 2011 and used it with the same cartridge for a year and a half. He passed away and I started using it on my legs. I have been thinking using it every since with the original cartridge and it still keeps my legs hair free without nicks. So the same razor has worked for me for the past 11 years! In total it has been used for 13 years. What a remarkable thing. I can't say enough about the quality of this razor. Thank you Gillette!
