It is excellent for both floor and rug. It can wash rug and mop the floor by just one vacuum. Very smart design.

Works well, cleans floors but does not scrub so things that are really stuck on the floor still have to be scrubbed by hand.

I previously owned a Hoover for a number of years..this is a great upgrade. Lighter, easier to clean, and works better!
