I have terrible, heavy periods and wearing the large pads for an extended period of time breaks me out and causes aggravation. These seem to have less plastic that touches my skin, and cause way less breakouts. Also, the absorbency is amazing- better than any pad I've tried!

Heavy bleeders, these pads are for you! OMG, best pad ever!!! I implore you to try the Always Infinity Size 5 Extra Heavy Overnight Pads with Wings. You will find you won't have to do the tampon + pad combo quite as often during the day. You may have to wake up once during the night (heavy bleeders, I know you understand waking up once to change is a restful night). These pads are super soft and TRULY mold to your body. It's almost like having nothing on. Don't let the light weight fool you... these pads have superior absorption! If you're a heavy bleeder (fibroids, PCOS or endometriosis)... give them a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

I have a condition called Adenomyosis and before the Always Infinity overnight and heavy overnight pads I use to hesitate to leave the house during my cycle as this condition causes me at least three days of EXTREMELY heavy bleeding that can sometimes be unpredictable. This condition definitely hindered my quality of life as I was always afraid that I would have an accident at work or while I was out with my family. However since the Infinity line came out a few years ago I am more secure when I am at work, running errands or simply enjoying time with my family. I normally don't review things unless something impresses me enough (or makes me hate it enough) to share my experience. I got a sample pack of the green heavy flow ones and I saved them for my heavy days to test their limit. some background: I am ALWAYS leaking on every period on the first and second day. It's so bad, I even have to sit on a plastic bag at work and in my car just in case because I've had too many embarrassing "chair cleaning" experiences. I normally use the ultra thins from Always but they kind of shift to one side as I move around or give a lopsided wedgy and I'm a heavy flower--not a good combo. I tried a pad on Day 1 and I really like them. I'm really impressed for a number of reasons 1. It doesn't stink. I don't know if there is odor control, but normally after half a day with the other pads they start to reek of I don't know what. I'd have to change the pad not for it being time but for the fact that it reeks. I used one pad of this sample and it lasted a late afternoon, an evening, an overnight and a morning and it didn't smell bad. There was very little smell actually. 2. I noticed that the pad stayed in place and not go lopsided or give a wedgy to one side. It stayed right where I put it and formed to my shape so I always felt that it was there under me. 3. I poked at the sponge and it looks like you're squeezing blood out of it and onto your finger but it doesn't, it's reabsorbed so quickly and my finger comes away clean and dry (unlike the other pads). 4. the blood was only soaking the flexfoam part and not all over the outer rims of the pad and going onto the wings which dirties my inner thighs. This was true all the way til I had to change it. All in all, I can see that this product will keep my skin relatively dry and not moist where I start developing rashes or pimples on my butt. It's great at staying put and in place under me through all my movements, sitting, standing, sleeping etc. and it lasts a long time without reeking.

My only complaint is having an accident because my flow was not absorbed very well before I turned to get out the bed. It was like a small puddle sitting on the top of the pad and it flow out the back. Outside of that they work great for me.

I was worried about how the extra heavy pads might be to bulky to have a good nights sleep but the pads surprised me!!! I can barely notice them and I don't have to worry about leaks at all because they absorb soo much! Definitely my favorite over night pads without a dought! Hope this helps!

I used to have to wear 2 pads together to be able to "be covered" due to my extremely heavy bleeding. I bought this out of curiosity. When I saw the pads were so thin I had my doubts. The first time I wore one was to work so I packed an extra pair of undies just in case and wore black jeans. I was so shocked that 3 1/2 hours into my work day I was still safe. I couldn't believe it. I didn't even notice it. I thought for sure it's gonna fail at night so I put down my "monthly towel" and went to bed. Next morning.. SAFE! What?!?! No way.. I was shocked. No more 2 pads at once for me. I'm totally covered and protected. I can even wear light colored pants on my days. Woo-Hoo!! Thanks Always.

I grew up on Always. They were a household staple for me growing up in a house full of women. Well now that I am a mom of two with a heavier flow, this brand has failed me time and time again. I prefer tampons but wear l pads at night. I have what should be up to 12 hours of protection. I frequent the bathroom to make sure I am not leaking. Most times I am, or close to leaking through, after only wearing for 2 hours. Sleepless nights because I'm afraid of soiling my sheets. I feel like a preteen all over again. Always really need to create a product for moms and women who are experience changes in their menstruation.

Not only is it excruciatingly painful, but it also cause me to lose sleep because I bleed through EVERYTHING. I'd usually bleed through a towel, pads, and sheets.
