Performance does not do justice to the features!

I bought 3 VISIOs to simplify setups with my new fiber line only to discover the tvs have a quirk by which they often freeze up or stop programming with a "Sorry we are having a signal problem" or it shuts off completely and it is virtually impossible to operate two tvs in the same room without affecting each other. Another customer/Tec agrees to the same. problem.

Defective System Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this TV is turned off it continually turns itself back on. Slightest bump or move causes TV to go back to set up. I have had to go back and set it up at least 15 times. (I've had a 55" Vizio for 5-6 years with no issues.)

Absolutely Ridiculous

I absolutely resent having to download an app in order to work a TV. The app was not user-friendly. It was difficult to maneuver. I had to frequently research how to accomplish certain things using google and YouTube. . The tracking on it is ridiculous. There's no need for anybody to track what I watch what apps I access etc. I ended up putting a Roku stick that I deleted all the tracking off of in the back and am using that instead of actually using the smart TV function. I will not recommend any TV that requires me to download an app in order to function the TV. It should be an option whether or not I want to use the app.

Very disappointed

Bought and installed this TV last week. Have been unable to connect to be able to only choose channels and watch without all kinds of pop ups. I do not have any pay channels. All I want to do is turn on the TV and choose the channel I want to watch. I have called the support line twice and they were unable to help. I will cut my losses and purchase a better quality/more accessible television.

Met with fraud when installing

Screen showed a bar code which I needed to scan to activate the program. Upon doing so I was asked for my credit card information then a second screen popped up to check out again asking for my credit card info. My bank sent me a notice immediately that it was fraud. I’m still trying to get the charges off of my bank account.

Awesome Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item a few days ago. Very easy to set up as instructions are on point. Adjustment control buttons are easy to use for adjustments and I also hooked up a DVD Player to theTV with ease. Overall I am very pleased with the TV.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Roku device on my bedroom TV & it kinda died. I was gonna just get a new device but I decided to get a new TV. After reading the reviews, I decided on the VIZIO. I've only had it a few days but the picture and sound are great. I'm still getting used to the menu but I was able to find all the apps I need.

SO MUCH BETTER than a competitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a Samsung TV for our camper..... It was SO SLOW to change from apps, or channels, etc...... Sent it back and bought a Vizio again.... SO EASY to setup and works flawlessly fast! GREAT JOB!!!!

Great Picture, But...

Every time the unit is turned on, one must go through many steps to get to the last channel watched. Why is that necessary? A review of everything I do not subscribe to is just a gimmick to advertise what's available. I did not forget all of this since the last time I watched TV. Once a customer purchases what they want to pay to watch give them the option to buy more without parading ad infinitum everything available one more time.

Impossible to use. Invasive of privacy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been able to buy a TV, plug it in & use it. Not This One! Not even free over the air broadcasts, or plugged in DVDs. It won't let you get to any useful screens until you enter your private information, download their application to your phone & give them insidious means of tracking everything about you. This TV is the 3d "smart TV" in my house & is by far the worst TV I have ever owned.
