When you shrinkflation your bars by a third, you need to remember to shrink inflation your packaging as well. It's obvious the bar is not as big as the package and from now on I'll be buying a store brand.

I love the peanut butter nature valley bar so I assumed these ones would be even better. Unfortunately they have an odd taste, definitely a protein additive taste. I will most likely NOT be purchasing these again.

I get these every so often with other brands as well. They make for a good snack to keep you away from over eating food you normally have for Dinner. They're pretty soft and not to hard to chew. They're just right. You can probably fill up on 3 or 4 tops.

Not much protein to be advertised as a "protein" version of other nature valley bars. They have a slight protein "gritty" flavor but overall are decent. They have other nutritional value that makes up the low protein. Make a good breakfast or on the go snack.

I didn't care for these that much at first but I really like them now. It's a nice snack that doesn't spike the blood sugar as much as you'd think. If I had any complaint it would be that some of the bars have a limited number of chocolate chips, and others are loaded with chocolate chips (my preference naturally). This isn't an issue with Sam's of course, but it's something that someone might want to be aware of.

If you like tasting a protein bar for the taste of protein powder but no hint of peanut butter or chocolate, then these bars are for you. For the rest of us, these are the worst tasting protein bars out there. All you taste is the protein powder and chemicals. It was my first time trying these and it will be the last time buying them. There are so many other options out there from other companies - don't waste your money with these.

I purchase these regularly. Unfortunately, I just returned home from picking up a curbside order today (04/25/2026), and noticed the Best if Used By date is already past. It's showing 14MAR2026. (See photo.) Ridiculous to have expired product for sale.
