This size if perfect for us and I usually buy more than one. A family tradition for us is "home made" Chex mix and I use this as the base, adding nuts, pretzel sticks, M&Ms (add after oven), etc. and follow the original directions. Much easier than multiple boxes of cereal and the family loves it!.

This huge bag of Chex Mix sure makes it easy to take something along to family gatherings. Sometimes I might add some Cheez-its or nuts. Most of the time I just open the bag & pour into big Tupperware bowl. It tastes great & beats making this traditional snack from scratch. This non-cook relies on quick & easy when I have to take something for others to consume.

Perfect for parties or just an afternoon snack. Depending on the size of the group this bag can last a week...or a few days like in my house. I am thrilled to be able to purchase family size bags of chex or Gardettos online at Sams. The real family suze bags are very hard to find in stores. I always maje it a point to purchase 2 or 3 bags at a time to make it worth "the material to ship & shipping cost'

Our only problem was with the packing. I had ordered 2 packs of coffee and 2 packs of chicken jerky dog treats in the same order with the Chex Mix. Whoever packed the box put all the heavy stuff on top of the 2 packs of Chex Mix causing lots of crumbs. Someone needs to teach the packer to put the heavier items on bottom. Most of our Chex Mix was broken up.

I enjoy the Chex Mix. It is a tasty snack while entertaining or working on the computer. My biggest issue is that the local Sam's has not had it in stock for many weeks. I'm forced to buy it from Sam's on-line. Personally, I like to 'kick it up a notch' by adding some cajun spice mix.
