Here is my tip, use real butter ( not margarine) & do not over cook, you’ll think they are not done but they will be the softest cookies ever. Top it off with a jar of Betty Crockers vanilla frosting, you may want to double up because they will eat them all.

I have used this mix successfully many times in the past. Because of past success we made several batches yesterday ( planned to give to family) but when we tasted them, decided we could not eat them and certainly not give them out. They have a super weird taste. Almost perfume like if that makes sense. Very very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made these cookies last weekend and they were fabulous! So easy to mix! Nothing to it. Baked even. Tasted great warm and even better the next day. They didn't last long in my house. Absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend.

Use too use this product for cut- out cookies... and they changed product and packaging for the worse. Even with the 3 tablespoons of flour added... it does not make good cut- out cookies. Sucks that you ruined your product. Bring the old one back.

Some ways I use it are: fruit pizza, pizza cookie, sugar cookie kiss cups, sugar cookie rollo cups, sugar cookie peanut butter cups, It is a quality product and can be made ahead when you are short on time.

To make these roll and cut, melt the butter, add 3 tbsp flour and mix. Add flour in 1 tbsp amounts until the dough is a ball instead of mushy. Flour the surface, the dough, roller, and cutter. It will work, you just have to do it like all other doughs that are roll and cut.

If you asked me what my dream meal was, it would have concluded with a strawberry frosted Betty Crocker funfetti cupcake. These days, I do try to eat healthier despite my sweet tooth. I like that the ingredients here are straight forward, but man, I wish it was healthier! So much sugar, oil, white flour. That said, this brand is inexpensive and makes for easy, tasty baked goods. The sugar cookie mix is great with or without icing and is the perfect way to whip up/cheat a bake sale dish or cookies for friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a staple in my house, easy instructions, simple to make, and a lot of fun especially if you have small children or grandchildren. You can make drop or press cookies, delicious as is or decorate with sprinkles or candy.

I too have used this mix for cut out Christmas cookies for years. After reading this years reviews, I made a couple tiny modifications, and they are same as always. 375 degrees on aluminum sheet. Used an extra large egg, only one tablespoon of flour (as was suggested in the past). Stirred in egg, then butter, but ended up mixing with my hands to get to the right doughy consistency. My husband and I both think they taste the same!
