I upgraded from a 50” Seiki TV that I received for Christmas a number of years ago. It had the worst sound quality, and I could never get a bright enough picture. With this years Christmas money and purchased a 65” Samsung. The picture quality is amazing, but the sound is not as good as I expected. The primary reason I am giving a 4 star is what I went through to connect my Bose Soundbar. Samsung is one of the companies who has opted to eliminate the Optical connection for an HDMI eArc only connection, and my older Bose soundbar, which sounds awesome, and I have no reason to replace it, does not have an HDMI connection. The remote is modernized so much that it's a bit difficult for Seniors to use. Source is one of the main functions for modern viewing. Your nickname page is a problem. I've put in numerous combinations of letters and or numbers and it keeps kicking me out. Example JWK or JWK 1946 or Happy 1946.

The colors lights and darks are vibrant and the contrast is amazing. The Smart features are just what we would expect from Samsung. Having Samsung products in the house complement the Smart things eco system. Only 2 small issues keep me from giving a 5 star review. First the speakers are not great so to truly match the picture and have an immersive experience I had to pick up a Samsung soundbar with the wireless woofer. The second issue is the Samsung TV plus app is very buggy, the intro sound is way too loud and half the time the live TV guide does not load properly. Overall the experience has been positive on this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model has excellent quality in what the screen displays. It is very vivid and crystal clear. Didnt have to adjust any of the settings on this model. It was already to go once plugged in and turned on. Oh ya I can't forget the amazing audio quality. The colors and sounds really cant get much better in my opinion. The speakers are so crystal clear on how they sound even with the TV turned down on the volume. It's got to be one of the most amazing models of TV Samsung has ever made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV also as computer monitor and works great, plenty of desktop space and text is clear at 4k resolution. Also it comes with a RDP application to connect to remote computers, which is great when used with mouse and keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't plugged it in yet, but have a samsuns in living room and love it 63 I think never had problems with it, so went with a samsung in bedroom to replace my vizo which is only 2 yrs old and having problems with it. I remember when tvs lasted for 15 yrs not anymore. I can't believe the way they are made and the picture quality and how easy to use and see from a distance.

The contrast, colors, refresh and its light & mode settings make for easy viewing in all lighting. Every enjoyable feature of my past Samsung tvs is even easier and faster (not to mention better on the larger screen, i love the 85"!!!) All of the features are outstanding and the different modes for viewing and ease of switching ensures documentaries, drama/action movies, or sports are sure to keep you entertained! I have a 2008 58" plasma that isn't plugged in but im not tossing it! A 2018 65" & a 2023 55" all of which ive used and loved for decades. I've enjoyed the free 'Samsung TV' television lineup for a long time now and its just an added bonus to the best brand tvs and phones I've ever owned. I'm very happy recently (after forgetting to download movies into the last New England winter storm) we lost power, and being a recent right leg amputee after 2 years 13 botched limb salvage surgeries and 2 years of setbacks i spend a lot of time in bed unfortunately but was amazed at the ease and quality i was able to stream my Netflix on my television from my galaxy Ultra phone both in great quality & with minimal generator consumption (no other options w wifi down! Very easy to use and navigate fast updates and loading of apps make it a joy! If I had to critique one thing it would be the volume but sound quality is good just not as loud as like and my 350W Samsung surround sound solves that. Again im just saying if i had to pick one thing it would be sound but thats universal with all the new ultra thin tvs nowadays...and who doesn't use at least a sound bar these days anyway. I love it! All my TVS are currrently Samsung (i left a Phillips from 2 black Fridays ago w my ex. currently and i was planning on buying a qled tcl on black Friday but got this new 85" Samsung for the same price of the sold out 75" Tcl and i haven't regret it for a second!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the tv, pretty easy to set up and navigate. The sound is crisp and clear and the picture is pretty decent. Although the picture at times seems smoother on my other Samsung TV, this one is still decent for what I paid for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is excellent and meets all my expectations. The one thing I do not like about this TV is the design of the remote. Rather than use it, I prefer to use the remote from my previous Samsung TV. A feature that is missing on this TV is an audio out connector (digital or analog) so if you want to attach a sound bar to it, it must be wireless and use Bluetooth.
