This serum is lightweight and gives a slight sheen or glow to my skin. It seems to absorb well also. This is a product that is hard to tell the efficacy of because every day, every year we are aging but I did run out of my first bottle and after about a month I noticed my skin just didn`t look and feel quite as nice. So, I got another bottle and think it does make a difference. It`s especially good for the summer months.

I had an allergic reaction to this the third time I applied it. That day I had been out in the sun very briefly on a five-minute walk without sunscreen. Over the course of the next few days my skin became inflamed, red, wrinkled, extremely itchy and swollen. I believe some of the ingredients to may be PHOTOREACTIVE!, SO BEWARE!!! Plant-based products can have this affect when you go into the sun. For example, lemons and limes can cause extreme burns if you have juice from them on your skin (ever heard of the Margherita Burn?!) Another example is the milk (sap) from plumeria flowers which are very photoreactive and can cause bubbly itchy water-filled blisters on your skin if you go out into the sun. I don`t know which of the ingredients in particular in this product are responsible, however if you use this product, I pray you don`t have to go through what I just did. It took an entire week to recover.

I have been using this serum for a while now...on my second bottle...and I love it. My skin is noticeably brighter and more hydrated. I am inspired to use it every night before bed because I know my face will look better the next day if I do! I like the consistency of it-a thick liquid(instead of a cream) but not greasy. It dries quickly, so I don't feel like it is rubbing off while I sleep. It makes my skin softer and smoother. I am enjoying it so much I want to try their C+ Serum next!

I saw great reviews on this product and really hoped it would improve my skin. I did not see any major changes early on and hoped to wait it out and then maybe something would happen. No changes at all. Disappointed. I really wanted my skin texture to improve, but it did nothing. It is a little drying. Maybe this works for other skin type, but not mine.

I am 56 years old with sensitive acne prone skin. I started using the TruSkin Vitamin C serum approximately six months ago based on the reviews from other uses. My skin looks and feels much smoother, and doesn't feel as rough as it use to. If i get a pimple, i use the cleanser at night, and it's gone by morning! Now that's a miracle! It's gotten rid of most of my dark spots and i can see them lighten day by day. Leaves face glowing, looks more awake/refreshed.

I only got to use it for two days because I accidentally spilled it when the top came off on my makeup bag. The company replaced it for free and the customer service was amazing. I've been using it two weeks now and I'm already seeing subtle results. I like how it doesn't dry out my skin, nor does it interfere with the retinol cream that I've been using. Definitely recommend!
