Summary: if you need a gentle formulation of vitamin c than this product might be for you. If you`re looking for faster/more dramatic results, you may want to try an L-ascorbic acid product instead.I use vitamin c to lighten sunspots and acne scars and decided to give sodium ascorbyl phosphate (the active ingredient in this serum) a try because my skin doesn`t tolerate 20% L-ascorbic acid serums on a daily basis. It`s much gentler than the L-ascorbic acid serums I`ve used before (like Timeless) and I didn`t feel the need to tuck it in the fridge during the day, which was much more convenient. My skin didn`t object to daily use, didn`t dry out, and never burned/tingled on application. However, after 1 month the hyperpigmentation that I occasionally get never faded. I switched back to an L-ascorbic acid product every other day and in 2 weeks the spots are already receding. I could see the TruSkin Vit C being a good product for the days when I`m not using L-ascorbic acid, but I don`t actually need to use it in order to get results so it just ends up being an unnecessary step.

I am liking both the serum and the moisturizer. I am glad I tried it. It feels good, no reaction to my sensitive skin, could be a placebo??? No one has said 'ÄúHey, your skin looks great!'Äù However, I am counting on it making a difference..I am ready to try the facial toner.

I didn't see any of the results some of the other users did unfortunately :(I think I even broke out more from using it but can't be sure.**Update**I originally gave this serum a rating of 2. The seller contacted me upon reading my review. Their customer service is absolutely amazing--we exchanged several emails back and forth and she took the time to help me figure out which of their products would be beneficial to my personal skin needs. Absolutely recommend purchasing from this company. I know I will certainly give them another shot :)

This is the best purchase and also works really well on sensitive dry skin. I use this everyday (although I`m not sure if everyday use is suggestable) with toner, moisturizer and it works really well. I could see difference in a week. I cannot recommend enough how good this product is.

I decided to try this serum because of the positive reviews and affordable price. However, after using it for over a month, I`m struggling to understand what all the fuss is about. There`s no noticeable difference in my skin and the product seems cheap compared to other serums I`ve used. I`d recommend buying the 1 fl oz. container if you feel compelled to try it out.

My skin is improving and it is visible to me. My skin is extremely sensitive and I have been able to use the C Serum without a problem. I`m overly anxious for the product to eliminate my blemishes but I don`t believe it actually serves that purpose, however, my face is looking very good.

I was unsure of purchasing this product to use on my skin . most of the reviews that I saw were by white women . However there was a black woman , who used the product and stated that it really works for her . I Decided to go ahead and purchase the product and give it a try . I wish I listen to my intuition because , when I use the product it's starting to break out of my skin .

I'm so upset this product didn't work out the way I was expecting. I was so excited when I read the reviews and saw how great the product worked for people, I guess my skin just doesn't work well with this concentrated serum? I don't have an issue with acne at all, but I was hoping this serum would lighten my previous acne scars and help with my complexion, but after almost 2 weeks of using this product, it's made my skin so bumpy and itchy. I rarely wear makeup, but even wearing make up doesn't look right. I really want a refund.Edit: TruSkin saw my review and immediately emailed me with an apology and offered a full refund with no return of this product. They also offered to send me another product (for free) that would personally work for my skin. They respond quickly and very professionally. A+ for customer service.

I have never done a review but had to write this one. The product at first seemed like it was working. My skin was brighter, less dull and even seem a bit more plump. THEN- it started drying my skin out- so I reduced the amount I was using and only used once per day. That did not help- in fact- it got worse. Around my nose was so dry the skin started peeling. I had to stop using immediately. too bad because I really liked the texture and smell. I do have sensitive skin- so I don`t think this product is for people with sensitive skin.

I thought this product made made skin look more hydrated and brighter. I don't have a ton of wrinkles or fine lines BUT.....the ones I did have were diminished. Absorbs easily and can be used with other products. Took between 2 and 3 weeks of use (morning/night) to see initial results.
