This is a GREAT pool cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this pool cleaner! It was so easy to set up. It has multiple cleaning options to suit your needs. It climbs the pool walls effortlessly up to the waterline, and does a great job of collecting and removing debris. The filter is easy to remove/clean after each cycle and it’s a good size filter too. I was impressed after the 1st use and will be using it weekly. I have kids that love swimming and this is going to help keep my pool cleaner for them so I’m very happy. If you’re looking for a good pool cleaner, I recommend this one!

Cordless and super convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this on purpose to try it is super convenient with being cordless. Just have to charge, turn on and plop in the water and it will start cleaning. It has a few different modes most notably auto, which is both floor and walls, just floor and just walls mode. Easy to switch between mdoes. Simple to turn on. Battery seems to last and charges quickly. Light weight and comes with a hook attachment to be able to pull out of the water. The basket size is a bit smaller than others I have used and seems a little bit thinner but otherwise it picks up leaves, dirt, and other things well. This one the only reason for the one star deduction. Makes for a great vacuum for inground pools that is quick to use and start cleaning. We had a corded one that took a lot of time to set up and just as much time to put up when done using. At a pretty good price point/value. I would recommend this product.

Not quite there yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this cleaner, but I don’t think the technology is there just yet. The Aiper pool cleaner is the vacuum of the future. I love that it maps out the pool on its own and even comes up to the water line to clean the tile all without having the cord wrap around you while you’re swimming. I also love that the cleaning basket is so easily accessible an easy to clean. That, to me, is where the convenience stops. While the vacuum can run for about 180 minutes, the constant removing the vacuum from the pool to recharge it is not convenient. The eco mode does help a little with a 45 minute cycle ever 48 hours, but that just isn’t sustainable for keeping a pool clean in 95 degree weather all summer long. I also don’t like the fact that the standard model doesn’t include app accessibility. You have to pay for the upgraded model for that feature. I think if you’re willing to spend the extra money on the higher models, it may be a better expression, but I wouldn’t recommend this specific model. I’ll keep this for an emergency backup, but will stick with the regular tried and true hose vacuum for now.

Did not meet my expectations

Here’s a more polished, balanced, and helpful version of your review: I had high hopes for the Aiper N1. My Dolphin pool cleaner had finally died, and since the repair cost was almost the same as buying the Aiper, I decided to replace it instead. At first, I was very impressed. It picked up fine debris extremely well, and the pool looked great after each cleaning. However, the problems became apparent after several months of ownership. I purchased it at the end of pool season, so it didn’t see regular use until this year, which delayed noticing some of the issues. The biggest disappointment was the battery life. My pool is 36’ x 18’, and the cleaner often needed to be recharged before it could finish a complete cleaning cycle. It also doesn’t follow a systematic cleaning pattern, so it frequently missed sections of the pool. While I don’t expect any robotic cleaner to perfectly handle my irregularly shaped pool, it consistently struggled with the steps and corners. Retrieving the unit from the pool is another drawback. It’s quite heavy, especially when it’s full of water and debris. I also wish it had a charging dock. Instead, you have to plug the charger directly into the unit, and the charging port is covered by a rubber flap that isn’t completely watertight. After removing it from the pool, you have to thoroughly dry the charging area and wait until it’s completely dry before plugging it in. Unfortunately, after only about three months of regular use, the cleaner stopped working altogether. Customer service was responsive and walked me through a hard reset, but it didn’t resolve the issue. They then asked me to ship the unit back for troubleshooting. Rather than deal with the inconvenience, I returned it to my local Sam’s Club. Overall, the Aiper N1 does a good job picking up debris when it’s working, but the random navigation, inability to consistently finish cleaning my pool on a single charge, heavy retrieval, inconvenient charging design, and premature failure outweigh its strengths. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it.

Not there yet....but the battery does last

Impressive battery life, the rest of the technology is not there yet. I so wanted this to be the answer, maybe in a few years.

It’s ok

I see that most of the reviews are paid because of a promotion, so I’m not sure I even believe them now that I own this vacuum. I don’t find the pool vacuum to be that great. It works one time and then it dies. In the description it says one of the modes it cleans every 48 hours, yet mine cleans it one time and then it dies. So that means every time I have to pull it out of the pool and recharge it. Living in AZ the pool has to be cleaned more often and when it starts to get really hot, this is gonna be a pain to go outside every other day to yank this thing out of the pool to charge it. I thought for the cost, this pool vacuum would be amazing, but it’s not.

Thank you for sharing your honest experience with the Aiper Scuba N1. We’re truly sorry to hear that the product did not meet your expectations and that you’ve encountered performance issues.

We’d like to address your concerns seriously:

Battery life & cleaning frequency: The "every 48 hours" mode you mentioned is designed to schedule automatic cleaning cycles, but it does require the unit to have sufficient battery power to run each cycle. If the cleaner stops after only one use, there may be a defect with the battery or charging system. That is not normal operation, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused, especially in a hot climate like Arizona where frequent cleaning is essential.

Promotion & reviews: We never encourage paid or misleading reviews. Customer feedback—whether positive or negative—is taken seriously, and your honest input helps us improve our products and services.

We would like to help resolve this for you. Please contact our after-sales team so we can arrange a replacement or repair for the battery/charging issue. You can reach us at service@aiper.com. Our support team typically replies within 24 hours.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced with your Scuba N1 missing spots and stalling around the stairs. This is certainly not the seamless cleaning experience we want for your pool.

The bonus filter baskets included in your Sam's Club bundle feature an ultra-fine mesh meant for fine algae, and we'd love to ensure your device is configured correctly to handle your pool's specific topography. Additionally, if the unit is permanently stuck on the stairs, it may require a quick sensor reset or firmware check.

Before you make a trip back to Sam's Club, please allow us to assist you directly. Random Cleaning, No Improvement—Not Worth It

I purchased the Aiper Scuba N1 on my own—this review is not part of any promotion or incentive. Unfortunately, the performance has been disappointing. The vacuum did not clean my entire pool, and it doesn’t appear to use any real mapping or smart navigation technology. Its movement seems completely random. At one point, it stayed in the same section of the pool for about 20 minutes instead of covering new areas. I also contacted Aiper customer service and was told it can take up to six cycles for the unit to “learn” the pool. In my experience, that does not appear to be true—the unit does not learn or improve its coverage. That explanation was frustrating and misleading. Battery life is also an issue—it lasted under two hours in my experience, which wasn’t enough to finish cleaning my 40’ x 18’ inground pool. Another downside is handling the unit. Getting it in and out of the water is more of a hassle than expected, especially when it’s full and heavy. Based on this experience, I am returning the unit. Overall, I was expecting a more efficient and intelligent cleaning process, but this didn’t deliver.

Thank you for sharing your honest experience with the Scuba N1. We’re truly sorry that the unit did not meet your expectations, especially regarding navigation, battery life, and ease of use.

Based on what you described—random movement, limited coverage, and runtime under two hours—this typically points to a possible issue with the navigation logic or battery performance. The unit should not stay in one section for 20 minutes, and the battery should last longer for a pool of your size. We also regret that the “learning cycle” explanation you received was confusing and did not reflect the actual performance.

We want to make this right. Please reach out to us at service@aiper.com with your order details and a short video of the unit’s behavior in your pool. We’ll evaluate the situation and arrange a replacement or repair for you.

We appreciate you giving Aiper a try, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.
